| GAME CHANGE: Realty - supply and demand. | Started by: Squishy on Jul 11, '14 04:41 |

Starting July 18th, we will be changing the cost of HQs to better reflect the supply and demand of each individual location compared to others. It costs more to secure and develop property in areas with very little left over real estate compared to areas with lots of real estate left. Once an area starts getting crowded with HQs, the costs go up for each additional HQ you cram into an area. New leaders can setup in an area that isn't loaded with other HQs to stay on the cheap. Existing leaders can wait until their HQs get utilized a little more before creating new ones. |

(Just to be clear, there are no limits to how many crews you can put into a district. You can have 30000 if you please, however, they will get increasingly more expensive once you reach a certain point) |

I like this idea, but I'd like to see the numbers attached to it because wanting two or three HQs has always been a successful target, not too big and not too small. I'd also like to see a few disadvantages for simply expanding to a new district every time, like the HQs can put up slightly better HQ fortifications the more there are because if HQs are all close to each other it would make sense that there might be less angles to attack the forts from so you would position your defenses in a better way, but not a big enough difference that it would cause an easy exploit. |
