The idea I'm proposing would be simple solution for those of us who don't spend all our time in IRC. I've noticed that some families are more active than others, and many of the GF crews simply don't talk in crew chat due to limited number of people in the crew. Since most of the new families in any given district are offshoots of other families in the area, they have a lot of strong relationships from the old families.

What I would like to purpose is a simultaneous crew chat and district wide chat screen in the game. These could be separated by simple 'minimize' buttons on the side of the chats.

This would also cut down on the massive amounts of mails that start flying around during wars, as the entire district could be in easy contact with each other while still in the game's tab.

Thoughts?

I think it used to be like that. It was the same chat box we currently use now for the family, but there was another tab for Crew and City. I could be totally wrong. My memory is a little fuzzy. If it was, I don't know why it went away. It was nice to have tabs on both the crew and the district. If it never was. This is a great idea. I find there is more communication in crew chat than on irc half the time.

It'd be nice if there was also a "Current City" option. Would make stuff like OC setups a bit easier.
