With a white picket fence Started by: SammyGravano on Jul 12, '14 23:00

Sammy tips the truck driver a $5 as he carries the last box of things out from their HQ in the middle of Queens. It had been a long and fun ride with many ups and downs, but this was a place he would never forget. This city gave him and others chances that they never thought they would have. As he walks out of the HQ for the last time, he nails a piece of paper to the door that stated:

Moved to the Suburbs of Chicago.

We then see Sammy standing in front of his old HQ, pacing himself on the steps, then turning his attention towards the gathered crowd. His members were just as excited for the move as he was.

It has been a fantastic ride here in Queens, but it is now time for us to move along. We have been given the opportunity to continue the great work that Godfather Solid (GRHS) started in the Suburbs, and make it into something he could be proud of. This is a fantastic chance to move out and work with the great leaders within the windy city. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here in Queens and have shown gratitude towards JohnnyNoname that we will never be able to repay. While we will be moving halfway across the country, we will always have our friends here in New York; It was our home, and I am a man to never forget where his roots came from. We would also like to thank Mako, Desmand and Princess for giving us a chance in the Suburbs of Chicago, and plan on working with them in the future.

We look forward to seeing you all stop by the district in the future. While this is bittersweet to leave Queens, what we will build in the Suburbs will make our friends at home proud. Stop by and see our new HQ soon, it's going to have a swimming pool and a white picket fence to keep out all the pesky old people.

Sammy sighs and smiles as he turns away from his old HQ one last time to get into his car waiting for him just yards away.

Haven smiles hearing her old friend is moving to Chicago and makes a few phone calls, she didn't have much warning, but she had enough... And as Sammy walks into his office for the first time he's greeted by a huge mural of Chicago done in blues.

You look good in blue Sammy, glad to welcome you to the Windy City, old friend.

Ras had been, as always, scouring the shadows. Dipping in and out of back alleys, delving into the Pockets of unsuspecting victims. During his normal daily routine, his ears perked up. He had heard the voice of SammyGravano, he was certain of it! Letting his intuition lead him to the conversation, Ras listened intently with a grin on his face. Stepping up to the man, Ras didn't bother with the customary handshake or head nod. He grinned even broader and wrapped his arms around the man in a brotherly hug, patting him in a congratulatory manner on his back.

"A much deserved opportunity, my old friend. I knew when I took my post as CrewLeader here in Queens that I wouldn't be working alongside you forever, but alas... I most certainly hope that we still remain in close contact. I am very much looking forward to the even bigger day that I am sure can't be too far off."

Ras wolf whistles.

"That GodFather suit will look even sexier, I'll be sure to stop by the Streets for that party!"

Alex smiles as Sammy is speaking and listens intently to his old friend. He approaches Sammy with an outstretched hand and a massive grin on his face, he hadn't been so happy in quite some time.

"I agree with Ras on congratulating you on this move my dear friend. I have read through some of my fathers journals and it seems you have worked together for a while in the past. You have been a great friend to my bloodline for some time now and I can say I saw this move coming from a mile away. It is one of the most deserved moves I have saw in a very long time and I could not be happier to see this move happen. It is sad to see you leave us all here in NY but we all wish you the best!

Alex tips his hat and wanders off into the shadows.

Leaning against the wall he shrugs

like every child must leave the home to expand their mind and experiences, sometimes have to move city to show what you are really capable of.

You have payed your dues to New York and now i wish you the best rebuilding the Suburbs.

Congratulations and i look forward to watching the suburbs grow.
