I think with the population we have in the game right we don't need these 2 cities.

We could admin move all of LA to PH, and move the sole district in LV to DT. This would empty these 2 cities, which we could then close. And, open again when the game is more ready for it.

I'm not sure how much support this will get but I feel it will greatly benefit us!

Admins will not close the city, if we wish for them to be closed, it must be done by the GFC.

No one will want to move from LA due to loss of units and rank, which again they will have to retain once moved to whichever city you'd be thinking of.

Besides why should LA move to Philly? We are looking pretty damned fine in the city of Angels TBH

We are striving to accommodate every playing style so that it is a blank canvas for everyone. I would much rather a city be closed on a player level than on a coded level.

I'm actually very very pleased with this approach. Rather than being reactive to all the people demanding/moaning etc for how they want things, the admins have decided to Open the game up and allow the user base to operate how they wish. PH being "Closed" by the Godfathers in game is the sort of thing that needs to be done by the userbase, we don't need admins to remove cities to ensure that these cities aren't then used.

Why should we ask admins to work extra to make changes to the entire game, only for the current people in power to one day die, then the next group want to actually spread the familys out to a variety of Citys and then requiring another change.

As it is now. The group in power can simply say that they are going to even use One District per City and perhaps then utilise ALL cities. Would this make things better? I don't know, but its an option open to the userbase as the admins are allowing the users to rule as they see fit, not be hamstrung by limitations and demands from the admins themselves.
