Tais' Place Started by: Tais on Jul 18, '14 21:02

Tais walks along Downtown, Detroit's streets. She needed to find a small spot for her business plans. Coming along to the middle of the business area she spotted a small looking shop for rent. She peered through the window and instantly called the owner. They were only too happy to meet her right away.

Once they had met and the papers were signed Tais got to work on her new place. She had saved for awhile for this place and her excitement was infectious to her bodyguards. They got all the supplies ready and headed inside to get to work. Tais cleaned the shop and the men got the kitchen appliances she would need sorted into their spots. Directing them Tais had them arrange the couple of tables so that they were spread out as much as they could be. She wanted her customers to have some privacy while they ate.

Once the tables were decorated with light blue table cloths, silverware placed out for people and the walls painted a neutral beige. She added a few cozy scenery pictures that she had been admiring to the walls. Making sure her cooking staff were prepared and her bodyguards were spread out to provide some safety for the mobsters that would surely end up here.

She had one staff nail the menu up near the kitchen so that it would be visible upon walking in and easy to order from. She made sure the board was straight and stood to read it.

After returning back to Detroit Azrael walks into Tais place.   He walks over to a table and lights a cigar as he exhales he looks around as he adjust his colt 45.   He than looks at an menu as he spots just what he was hungry for.

He orders a cheeseburger with a large side order of fries and a coke.   He continues to smoke his cigar as he waits for his food.

Ravyn had been busy with cleaning up her mother's place. Noticing someone had walked in she went to take their order.

"It shouldn't be too long." She said as she left to head towards the kitchen.

About ten minutes later she came out with the mans order and set it down in front of him.

"I hope you enjoy your meal sir."

Azrael looks at the young lady that handed him his food.  He nods to her comment as he smashes his half smoked cigar out on the floor.  He then pulls the plate closer as he inspects his burger and fries.  Taking a swig of his coke just before he picks up his burger to take a bite.

After a few minutes he is finished and pulls out a ten dollar bill and leave it on the table.  Before he leaves he pulls out another cigar and a match.  He strikes the match alone the bottom of his shoe as a flame quickly appears.  He introduces the flame to the cigar and then takes a puff.

He stands an gives a small grin of satisfaction from the meal as he leaves giving the young lady a slight nod just before exiting the joint.

Ravyn nodded. Gathering up the dishes from the table and brought them to the kitchen for cleaning. She set about preparing the table for another customer. Once it was no longer busy she reached for a book to use up the time she now had.

Spring had been very sad to wander the streets of Detroit hungry. There were other places she could go but she figured she'd take a packed lunch and tidy up an old friends building. It would be nice to reminiscence in silence without people wondering what made her smile falter.

Slipping through the boarded up door Spring closed it tight behind her. She had brought a bunch of cleaning rags and supplies in a back pack. She certainly wasn't afraid to get a little dirty in hopes of bringing some sunshine back through the place. Taking off her back pack she dropped it to the floor.

Digging out her lunch Spring found a decent corner to sit in and think about all the plans she had for the cleaning. It would be easier to sell the building if it looked decently taken care of. This was part of her inheritance. Taking small bites of her ham sandwich until it was gone. She washed it down with some water and set to work.

First she tackled the walls. Then Spring moved into the kitchen. Cleaning each of the appliances methodically. Then the counters, walls and floors. Moving into the dining area she started with the tables and then did the floors. Once all of that was done, she tackled the windows. She scrubbed everything until it shined and smelled like new.

Once finished she packed up her cleaning stuff and took out the For Sale sign. She taped it to the window with her phone number attached where she could be reached.

Sliding back out the front door she locked the place up and was back on her way to another drug deal.
