Subcrews should be a part of the game anyone with the rank of Capo+ would be given a mini crew of Made men assigned to them by their CL and just like how associates are shown on a persons profile your subcrew members would be shown as Soldiers. In the past crews used this but it was by word of mouth and it was very disorganized.

As a subcrew leader you can assign the members of your mini crew assignments such as do X number of X Felonies or X number of X Petties. This is just a basic outline but more things could be added in the future

Why is this needed? Well with so many people who play the game when given the opportunity to become a CL its common that many experienced bloodlines get a shot over an inexperienced bloodline that has never been a CL this could help groom people into leadership roles into the future. This also makes ranks such as Capo Boss, etc more meaning and responsibility when you're a Made man you're able to become a sponsor now if your Capo+ you can have a subcrew and this also helps those in crews and in cities that are crowded with many crews because at the moment those ranks don't really have any weight unless your a hand.

So um what do you folks think? Good? Bad?

It's something that's better for users to RP out. 

Still though it would be nice for Capo+ ranks to feel a bit different because right now it feels just like Made man but the ability to do an extra OC.

Yeah, but like BloodySpikeS says, that's entirely in the users (specifically the crewleaders) hands. If the leaders want subcrews, they can have them. There's nothing stopping this being in place already.

As far as another OC... is that something that people think is actually needed?

 Don't think you understood me Eric every rank Made man and above feels the same just with the ability to do a new OC it really doesn't feel like much if thats all you get for ranking...

This would be great it gives the Capo rank some meaning instead of unlocking some other OC and it also gives members some experience leading a group of players making the transition to CL easier.

If the CL wants to run subcrews within his/her crew, he is 100% able to.

It should be user done, not code done!

Ranks do not derive their importance from features; they derive importance from the players. Even though a huge chunk of the game hinges on the Made Man promotion, it is still handed out like candy. However "important" you want a rank to be is entirely separate from the features attached to it.

We use to do this Via Rp and HQ threads,  if wish to bring it back carry it on that way, nice susgestion tho, but yes we did have it as a RP theme for many years many years ago
