| i saw it the other day i think it was ok but very very predictable within 5 minutes i knew what characters were going to die and who would survive the whole slasher flick genre looks outdated now......friday the 13th did have its moments tho altho i think jason was more scary in the origionals when he didant run....anyway i want to know what you people think in particular the die hard jason fans | |

Well Im possibly the biggest jason fan on this site. Been watching these films since I was 5yrs old lol... The movie was good. As in any Fri the 13th movie you know who will die, so no surprise. The kills in it were sweet, alot of machete to the head type stuff. And Jason did run in the originals, the first four when he was just a deformed guy living off the woods. He was killed by Tommy in part 4 which was suppose to be the last movie. But they came back which then we got zombie Jason. Which meant no more running. Jason never really drowned in that lake. As for slasher genre, its still the best. Im a huge horror fan mostly slasher. Aint really no true horror movie besides slashers which is pretty much the foundation of the genre. How do you get a kick out of ghosts? Besides The Exorcist. |

it wasant jason i part 1 it was his mother....part 2,3 and 4 i didant see him run once he just walked and i think it was part 5 it wasant even jason it was somebody whos son had been killed and he was taking revenge by pretending to be jason as for most horrors being slashers? nightmare on elm street i wouldant consider that a slasher, hellraiser thats no slasher, childs play the list goes on i think the slasher genre is in a stalemate thats why movie excecs are bringing back things like friday the 13th and halloween i think people are more into supernatural horrors theese days tho like the grudge i still prefer a good slasher tho not really the new ones tho i prefer origional friday the 13ths |

| was tommy a killer or not that allways confused me i think it was part 5 roy was the killer but then at the end tommy put the jason mask on and attacked that girl? but then hes a good guy again in the next one with the zombie jason | |

| Tommy never killed anyone, he killed Jason twice and it screwed him up. Roy was the killer in 5, and i dont recall Tommy ever putting on the mask at the end of 5, if you remember though he was in the psych ward, so he might have been screwed up enough to do it. | |

He did put on the mask after he pulled it out the drawer beside his bed and attacked the nurse. It couldve been a dream of his which is coming to mind. Its been over a year since Ive seen A New Beginning(pt5) but I know its something around there. Dont watch that once much considering its my least favorite. heh my true dedication to Friday The 13th, every halloween if you live in my neighborhood you know me and my crew. i remember watching the old friday the 13th movies for the first time and i was at the edge of my seat the whole time the remade version not so much it was a disappointment combining pretty much the first three movies was to me a mistake but i do want to point out in the orginal movie that jason did run more then once . |

no cav if you mean rob zombie's halloween 2 no i didnt like either of rob zombie's halloween movies he hit paydirt with the devil's rejects but he messed up the halloween movies |

i didnt like either of them but im a micheal myers fan seen the originals probably more times than i should except for that horrible part 3 but rob went to much into it showed more than i wanted to see but also i know that was his point in doing it but it wasnt for me |

Yeah Ive been a fan of Michael, Freddy and Jason since I was atleast 5. Coming home from kindergarten renting these movies! lol kinda bad I know. But yeah everyone has different tastes. |

me too i've watched them all freddy would be second on my list and jason third i gave rob the benefit of the doubt by going to see them and will buy them because they are halloween movies and belong with the rest but that akkad guy that owns it should have carried on with the storyline instead of letting rob remake them i mean there is still enough to go with laurie's son jaime lloyd's baby tommy doyle enough to make a cpl more same with freddy and jason instead of remakes make freddy vs jason 2 just make it to where that evil dead guy dont have to be in it i know many didnt like fvj but it wasnt worse than jason x |

As a huge Jason fan I actually like anything with Jason, may seem kinda weird considering alot of the "hardcore" fans didnt like it but Jason X ive seen probablly 20 times lol and FVJ. Not great movies but its Jason and I like to see him kill. I would like to see Freddy vs Jason vs Michael lol the big three, that would be awesome if only so many people didnt own the Halloween franchise it could happen. The new Nightmare on Elm Street looks kinda bad. Robert Englund was king and wow the trailer just looked pretty horrible. The new Friday the 13th is already written up, theyre just waiting for Newline to give them the greenlight to start shooting. |
