OOC: Just a little rp that I wanted to put up of my character during his time in Naples

IC

Ciruzzo was dead and the entire neighborhood of Secondigliano was aware of it. The three princes who ruled the now Kingless land consisted of Cosimo, Ciro and Marco. All three were very competent young men but all had different views and all agreed that a meeting was needed in order to settle disputes with the Casalesi of Casal di Principe, in the province north of Napoli. The area was very urban, almost desert like but was kept under constant control of the clans in the area. In fact, the Casalesi System was known for the disappearance of two young boys. These two kids were bored during the week and had no job just like a large majority of the Neapolitan youth. The area was poor, and nothing but up and coming criminals and wannabe Camorristi roamed the streets. It is said the two boys robbed a drug stash, as well as a large weapons cache owned by the Casalesi, and as a result the two boys disappeared not long after. They were later found dead along a beach near Caserta filled with bullet holes.

Indeed the Casalesi System was a very ruthless clan, as it made up major clans from the area such as the Bidognetti, Zagaria, Iovine and Schiavone Clans all of which was suspected by law enforcement to enlist up to 1,200 people under them. This was no doubt a very sizeable organization and very powerful as well. Their connections with the Colombians was ever growing, bringing attention to the Sicilians, whom it was rumored the Casalesi were now shipping drugs.

On the day of the funeral, Carmelo was visited by Marco Di Lauro and summoned to the Scampia neighborhood and meet up with him and his other brothers. Carmelo agreed, to do so.

Sicily had become too dangerous for him to live, so Carmelo fled north to Napoli in order to live a rather simple life. He had enough of Sicily's quiet atmosphere and seemed to like the flashy style of Naples, so he decided to stay. His new home was now a small apartment in the Miano section of Naples, which was very close to the Di Lauro base of operations. In fact, Miano was a major area for some of the local bosses. He was on good terms with the Di Lauros, but was very anxious about the meeting. He knew people in the area were aware of his Sicilian connections, but he hoped that wasn't the reason of him being called.

He was accompanied by Marco to Scampia, and couldn't help but take notice of the four large project housing buildings that were lined up between Via Antonio Labrola and Viale della Resistenza. They went up for atleast 15 floors in some, while the others were a little shorter in height. The other project housings in the area also stood up from the small grassy pieces of land below them. As the black Mercedes that they drove in came closer to the buildings, Carmelo spotted a large amount of Di Lauro sentinels standing on the streets ready to shoot anyone that came around who was an outsider. Many were defending their territory as the young boys continued to deal the drugs to the fiends in the neighborhoods. The continuous flow of money throughout the streets in Napoli regardless of the war going on between the two clans was fascinating to the young Sicilian. Their older ways consisted of shutting down business and going into hiding while the gunmen drove around looking for any rivals to shoot down. These Camorristi on the other hand preferred to keep business flowing and have their members still out on the streets as if nothing was happening. The point of these wars was to establish who was in control. Their philosophy is if the enemy makes you go into hiding or shut down the rackets then you've already lost. If a clan loses its economic power then it loses its military power as well, thus creating an instant loss for the clan.

During my time here in Naples I had frequently visited Scampia particularly because it was much more open than the rest of old Napoli. The streets are wider and provide an airier feeling. In fact, Scampia's name is derived from the Neapolitan dialect and means

"open land" with all of its weeds and other brush growing up around the large "Vele" (sails) of monstrous public housing projects. These were the large concrete structures that the Di Lauro Clan was summoning me for the sit down.

As we parked in the parking lot I stepped out and was led by Marco up the steps. I could already tell from the worn in structure of the building that this was one of the poorest neighborhoods in Napoli. We headed towards one of the stairways, since of course the elevators had been out of use for over 15 years. We continued up to the steps, passing through each floor I could see young children running along shouting out curse words, even grown men bored smoking a cigarette or something. Most of them had no jobs here and as a result simply got involved with the System (Camorra). Some music blared from a few of the apartments but no one else really seemed to care. It was in fact early in the afternoon so life was as usual here. The higher we went on the steps, the more I saw the sentinels start to appear. The first one was just smoking a cigarette. He was by himself, and wore the Armani and all the nice clothes and had a pair of sun glasses on. I could see his gun protruding out of his tight jeans.

As we went up a little higher I could see them start to form in groups. They all started to glance over at me with a suspicious look, and eventually Marco picked up on it. After a quick "what the fuck are you looking at?" the boys would quickly return back to their conversation. The power the Di Lauros had over their soldiers was demonstrated perfectly. Once we reached the top floor we stopped. Marco turned to me and pointed down a long hallway. "Cosimo is down there. So when you go to see him, don't question him. In fact don't even let a word slip unless he asks you a question...understand?" he said. I nodded and we simply walked down the hallway. The number of sentinels on this floor from what I counted off the top of my head was about 15 or 20. All of these guys looked older too in their 30's or so. As we approached the appropriate building, Marco knocked and out stepped a large bodyguard of Cosimo's. I was ordered to place my hands against the wall and I did as ordered.

The man searched me for any weapons and also made sure I was not wearing a vest of some sort. And so they allowed me to enter into the apartment room. Upon my entrance I noticed a side room where I heard women moaning as other camorristi were getting their share of pussy. I then moved into the back living room where a plasma screen tv was playing the Lazio vs. Napoli game, but was clouded by the thick smoke from a large marijuana blunt. And sitting on the large leather sofa in the room was Cosimo Di Lauro the regente of the Di Lauro Clan. To his right (my left) sat Fulvio Montanino, one of the neighborhood capos under him, and to his left Ugo De Lucia a known killer for the clan. Marco introduced me to the men and I shook hands with all of them, giving them my utmost respects, especially towards Cosimo. Their father was now dead and for the time being Cosimo was the undisputed power within the organization, and although he was not yet officially the Clan Boss, he was to be treated as such.

I sat down across from them and gave my sincerest apologies to Cosimo regarding the death of his father. Or at least I tried to be sincere, because quite frankly I really didn't give a shit about his father. Business was business and whatever happened between the Casalesi and Di Lauro clans happened because Paolo screwed the Casalesi over. The target given to me was on a small sheet of paper that sat on the small coffee table in front of me. The target that was to be hit was Michele Zagaria, one of the top members within the Casalesi. It was very likely that this guy would be protected beyond belief, but I figured this guy could be taken out with patience. Cosimo encouraged that any other members within the Casalesi that could be killed would be appreciated if possible.

And so, with the meeting nearly ending, I shook hands with the two lower ranking men. Cosimo then placed a gun on the coffee table and then removed a single bullet from his pocket. He brought the bullet up to my view and looked me square in the eyes. "Ey Carmel'...don't fuck this up. If you do this is going to be the last thing you feel." I nodded my head and with that stood up from the table and left. Cosimo was known to be a crazy gangster anyway. His hair was exceptionally long and always kept in a pony tail. His eyes though were colder than ice and could pick out any weaknesses in his opponents. I was led out of the apartment complex by Marco, but once on the bottom floor he informed me that I had to find another route to get home. With his eyes slightly shut from the marijuana, Marco said his goodbyes and went back up.

In the meantime I began to walk around the floor of the apartments, before stumbling across the large open air drug markets that the Di Lauro clan controlled. All of the fiends were lined up waiting to get their doses of cocaine or heroin. After watching the operation perform, I along with everyone else heard gun shots echo throughout the complex. I headed in the direction everyone else went in and found a crowd of people surrounding a corpse. The person was shot in the head and was killed instantly. The blood was forming in a nearby puddle and emptying out into the storm drain. A number of the sentinels were cursing at the corpse calling it a [i]piece of shit, zagaria's bitch[/u] and other things. I then noticed three young boys step away from the body. They were in deep conversation about the war taking place. "I'm glad that Casalesi fuck got what he had coming to him...Who the fuck does he think he is coming to Scampia?" said one of the boys. I followed close behind and began eavesdropping on the conversation. "Yeah but you have to admit he died the best way possible." said the other boy. "How? He was shot in the head! How is that a good way to die? Why not in the chest so you can have an open casket?" asked the youngest one.

The younger of the two boys was just getting involved in this life, and was probably among the baby killers enlisted by the Di Lauros. He had not seen death or the affects the body experiences once dead. "Dario...don't you see? When you get shot in the chest...you don't die for another ten maybe fifteen minutes. You fucking suffer as the blood and intestines spill out of you while waiting for the paramedics, and then what? You die anyway!" He was no doubt one of those young boys like me that had seen death. He wasn't really bothered by the dead body just a few yards away, but the little boy on the other hand, was shocked. He was even surprised to see that the corpse had an erection coming from his penis, a common thing that happens when males die.

As I continued to walk I could smell the stench of the dead body begin to consume the base of the large apartment complexes. Before long, the Carabinieri sirens and Death Van sirens were overheard in the distance speeding towards the murder. By this time most of the people were gone, even the young boys who were in fact standing next to me as I waited to cross the street. One of them flipped open his cell phone and revealed a picture of Paolo Di Lauro, Ciruzzo O'Millionare, the boss now a simple photograph on the young boys in Scampia and Secondigliano. All of them looked up to him and his courage, and were all furious at how brutally he was murdered.

I made my way back to my apartment after catching the bus and ate a quick dinner and fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up to my alarm clock and stepped outside onto my balcony with a small shoe box and a cigarette in my mouth. I placed the small shoe box on the rusted table and began to fill the 15 bullet clip of my Taurus 9mm pistols. I had three clips for each one. Every once and a while I would remove the cigarette from my mouth to stop the watering of my eyes, and allow the nicotine and other toxins to be exhaled from my worn in lungs. I had glanced down at my watch and realized it was still too early to pick up one of my men from the airport. Aurelio Quattroluni, one of my most trusted men from Sicily was arriving via airplane to the airport in Naples. He was one of the best guys I had when it came to doing a 'piece'.

Before long I had met up with my brother, and we made our way back to my apartment where he would clean his guns as well. As we were ready to leave a young boy brought us a small box and said it was a gift from Cosimo, and that they should be used. The boy then walked off and stepped back into one of the Volkswagens below on the ground and drove back to wherever he came from. We opened the box which revealed small hand grenades, a major weapon used by the Camorra in the past. We packed the grenades in a small bag and brought it with us with some other ammo as we left. While in Naples I was able to purchase two 2009 Ducati 1198R Motorcycles from the dealership for about 40 grand total for the both of them. Due to the economy we were able to get them for a decent price. We then drove out of the area and headed north to the small rural town of Casal di Principe, which was surrounded by nothing but deserted farmland.

As we arrived we stayed at a nearby hostel and began our search for the target Michele Zagaria. He was known to hide out at a local pizzeria in town and we decided to look there. We spotted Michele sitting in the pizzeria with a young boy who seemed to be his son, and yet another man who was counting wads of money with them. From what we could hear as we ate our pizza, Michele was reviewing the money being counted by a man named Mario, one of the Casalesi's caretakers, the men that would deliver money to the family members of dead or imprisoned Camorristi. They were surrounded by other men sitting around them and there were probably members sitting right next to us pretending to blend in.

The pizza was in fact quite good, but we left and then waited for the men to leave as well. Aurelio and I would split up as we both saw this as a profitable situation. Aurelio decided he would follow the caretaker to wherever he went to count the money, and I would follow Michele back to his home with his boy. And so we did, and found that the homes were not very far from each other. However, our first target had to be Michele. We knew he was why we were here. So we waited in a nearby alleyway and spotted some men walk inside of his house. Two Casalesi sentinels stood out front of the house, and according to Aurelio there was another in the back of the house. So three guards, plus whoever else was inside the house. We decided to wait a couple of days to get his habits down to a science. And so, Aurelio and I would take turns waking up early in the morning and watching him leave and run his errands.

Basically, he woke up at 6 am everyday, came outside and smoked a cigarette. By this time the guards would leave because hits rarely happened in the area at this time of day. Everything usually went down at 3 am or later on in noon. So most of the sentinels were just getting ready to sleep. Michele usually stepped outside to pick up the morning paper with his cup of American coffee in hand. For some reason he drank American coffee in the morning but after that he had his reliance on espresso just like the rest of us. His preferred brand was actually Lavazza, but personally I drink Illy, the most expensive and best made from the city of Trieste.

So one morning we decided this would be the perfect time to take him out along with other fellow soldiers that would be leaving the house. The three bodyguards would leave in the morning in the same exact car, a black BMW 350i that was parked out front of the house. Exactly two hours later the next shift would arrive in an Audi A5 and would transport Michele Zagaria wherever he needed to go. Aurelio and I took up our positions in some nearby alleyways. The boy was still inside the house with the mother when Michele would leave, which left the entire family at our disposal. This would surely please the Di Lauros in Secondigliano.

As Michele was leaving his house to get into his car, Aurelio drove his Ducati bike out of one of the surrounding alleyways and approached the Audi from the rear. The plan was to throw the grenade in through the window and break the glass, to give a shock treatment and not enough time to react, but easier yet, the rear passenger window was still open because one of the sentinels was smoking a cigarette. So as Aurelio approached he pulled the top off of the grenade and tossed it inside of the vehicle. However, Michele was not completely inside the vehicle when he saw the grenade. He was able to jump out of the vehicle in time when the blast went off to save his life. The three Casalesi sentinels were killed instantly, before even being aware about what had happened. Michele's legs were severely burned, leaving him on the ground, crawling towards his house shouting for his son. I was in an alleyway which ran against the side of the house. I drove up and parked my bike as Aurelio soon came back also. The son quickly came running out of the house with the wife who was trying to help the husband. Both were completely oblivious as to what had just happened, and so I approached them from behind as they inspected Michele. And with that, a simple switch blade would be removed from my pocket and would slip into the left kidney of Michele's wife. She let out a quick shout of pain and at that point, Aurelio firmly grabbed

Michele, holding him to the ground, preventing him from reaching for any weapons he may have had on him.

After piercing her kidney, I sliced clockwise and upwards, bringing the blade up to her belly button, which would release the pressure inside of her, releasing a terrible odor of her insides. And yet another quick stab to her neck would finish her off. The son, just 13 years old struggled to pull me off of her, and looked to be running inside the house when I grabbed him and placed a gun to the back of his head. By now, Michele the vicious don was begging for me to spare his on. "He's just a boy! He's not in this please!!" yelled Michele. A smiled at the man and shook my head no. Surely he had to die, because he would avenge his father's death. And so, a simple placement of the Taurus 9mm to the back of the head and -BOOM- he was gone. The bullet split open the boy's face leaving him dead. As the body dropped to the ground I flipped his body over on his back and fired two more rounds into his heart, making sure he would die as quickly as possible. No suffering, sure he was innocent, but I wanted a good payment.

Michele was the last of the victims on the list to take care of. With Paolo Di Lauro's death a very brutal one, I knew I had to match if not exceed the brutality of the mastermind who ended Paolo's life. The millionaire died a painful death, and so should Michele. However, Michele was only the first of many murders that the Di Lauro clan would hire me to do. And so, I placed my pistol against each knee cap and fired a shot into them, and then into each elbow and fired a shot there. Next, I would simply puncture two holes into the areas where his lungs were located, to allow blood to slowly fill up inside. With that, we got on our bikes and sped off down the street, leaving the city.

For now we returned to Secondigliano to notify Cosimo of our job and then later, we would hit the old man in Naples.
