It wouldn't be the first Curtis but its been years since that was happened. Times have changed since then.

Anyways, I still do not understand why there is so much debate on how Godmother Princess set up another auth in her district. People are complaining that they didn't get a mail regarding this auth makes me giggle like a little girl. Can you imagine what I look like when I do that? Its not a pretty picture but every handsome man has his flaws.

There are other outlets in this world I am sure you use Achilles. And if you were so concerned why didn't you just shoot this said "rogue"? Oh right you didn't. This isn't and won't be the last time that auths come out here to state their new headquarters. I personally set up without my former leader, Princess, having to come out to the streets and announce it herself. I took it upon myself to start I was a new auth while she telegrammed the rest of the upper structures stating what was going on. I am not the only recent auth for this to fall on. Other cities have done this similar tact as well. So please, let's not just judge one when others do the same.

I know the mail did in fact go out and I was at the HQ at the time so I  forwarded through the mailing services we have to the good people of Brooklyn so they all would know. If the other districts or cities cannot do likewise that falls on them.

Achilles is correct to state that HandsomeRob's crew is still trying to attract members. i would not like to disrespect said leader - but i would like to state that considering each family expects loyalty to the death once i accept an invitation, i prefer the situation to be laid out in front of me, so that i can make an informed decision. i just happened to stumble upon this conversation, which has filled me in on the goings on...

maybe the situation has developed of late. in the grand scheme; south side, chicago - now joins the large majority of districts to home three crews. three is the magic number!

Would appear that Achilles is clearly not the only one confused here then. I think this place we are currently situated (slightly down the road from the initial announcement) is perfectly fine for the conversation.

I approached Godfather Princess after reading the telegram and asked her if you were stepping down HandsomeRob and was met with a "soon yes" response. This would suggest to me that you were 100% stepping down and then it was brought to my attention last night that you were seen pistol whipping two bit gangsters in the hopes of impressing those fresh off the boat. Quite the contradiction from the response I received. I then spoke with Godfather Princess again and asked the same question to essentially receive a "lol" response to the matter.

How does this concern me? Real estate is high in Chicago as some might know. Now when I want to set up someone new in Chicago (because I actually fill my crews before setting up new crews out of common courtesy) I have to pay more money for a HQ. How is that fair that I should be punished for South Side's inability to make a decision and stick with it? Why should I have to pay $25 million for a HQ whilst South Side has two less then half filled crews with threats of stepping down over what seems like someone throwing their toys out of the pram? Then to not be met with any kind of mail updating me on the latest situation in Chicago and just expecting it to be water under the bridge. Reminds me of when Jacob was sent out of the blue to Las Vegas at Godfather Starscream's behest without notifying the other Godfathers on a change from the original plan. One of the reasons I was happy to move forward with his removal.

Yes, Desmand, things change, plans change. I replied to you when Swagg was authed because that is what was happening at the time. It was agreed upon by my district and I that it would be better for South Side to have another auth at this time because HandsomeRob was going to step down due to real life and inactivity...hence my mail saying "inactivity".  Well, it seems things have changed for him and he has caught wind in his sails once more, so no...I will not be making him step down, it seems a waste at this point seeings as both crews are both actively growing.

I was unaware that I had to get what I did with my district approved by you. It's all happening within South Side....one extra HQ in South Side....So....I guess at this point, what you want me to do is let HandsomeRob step down and let Swagg take his members and then soon...auth someone again? Seems pointless, but ok. 

If you were so upset by what was happening, you could have come to me privately instead of stepping on your soap box. I have already had discussions with Mako, who didn't seem to have a problem with it, or at least didn't voice it.

 -As to commenting on the second auth in South Side, have you considered that you don't have to have 40 man crews to survive. We are choosing to establish as second crew on two reasons; HandsomeRob has requirement elsewhere that are taking up his time currently, Swagg will be running a smaller crew to help assist in South Sides growth. I believe our model will work out nicely.

Tepid had spoken to Swagg on a few occasions, mainly Swagg telling him to leave the city and stop being greedy, he didn't mind though, all harmless banter. The time had come fro Swagg to grow and have his own headquarters, though it appeared most were not happy with the way it came around, Tepid couldn't really care how he got it, he had permission from his Godmother and that's all Tepid needed to know. Why should he question it? Why should others question? They shouldn't.

He wanted to congratulate Swagg in person, but it appeared that others were taking up his time, Tepid decided to leave and that he would return another time to congratulate him when the atmosphere had settled down.

Was Godfather Desmand absent when it was decided by the Godfather Council that Summerlin was given to Starscream to auth into? Did GODFATHER Desmand bother to ask the Godfathers who  were present at that meeting about why Inglewood authed someone in Summerlin? 

 Or is this another smear campaign by Godfather Desmand?

It was agreed in it's entirety that it was for Buscetta to go into because for the longest period Starscream didn't have the balls to pull the trigger on shooting his own member for fear of the repercussions. 

I asked several other prominent members at that meeting if they knew Jacob was going there and it was a unanimous no. Feel free to ask them if you want, your Godfather was one of them. It wasn't a district for Starscream it was for Buscetta, there is a difference. Why would I start a smear campaign on a dead Godfather? I have better things to be doing with my time.

A great way of keeping members (and crew leaders) is probably by not sending ex-LHM over there to verbally assault them and treat them like shit so much they have no other choice but to retire. So I'd naturally work on diplomacy, talking to people respectfully and they might be inclined to join your families.

What does Mako have to do with me? You share this city with three other crew leaders, so surely it would make sense to speak with the other two as well? I actually had a conversation with Mako not long after you made the initial announcement and he told me that you said to him "do people really think I'm stupid enough to auth another crew with one not even full." Apparently so. I did message you privately about the issue after both mails and still wasn't given an explanation, so I figure why not bring it to the streets?

It's an example of bad communication and what affect it can have on relationships. It has nothing to do with "bad girl cards" and I find the idea of playing oopsy daisy ditzy district leader in situations such as this incredibly flippant and naive.
