Trixie walks into the main room of the HQ.  It is festooned with multi-hued balloons and streamers.  A rock band is playing outside by the pool.  The gang has been wandering in and out all day, eating guacamole and chips, as well as some fine shrimp cooking on the bbq.  But we have not seen the boss yet and the natives are getting restless.  I see Insight over by the bar.  He brought a fine selection of beers from around the world for us all to enjoy.  Selena is looking marvelous in her sable black dress.  Her fangs are sharpened just for the occasion. 

“Hey gang – I think the boss should be here shortly.  Just don’t get too drunk so we can all sing for him.”

Trixie looks around and thinks – what a splendid birthday party!  The boss will be so surprised.  Just then she hears the front door open and a familiar voice …

“What is all this?”

“Happy Birthday Rorschach!!!”

Having left the HQ of the bootleggers a while ago, TheSorryJew was reminded of some very good memories. They had had tremendous fun together! And now the boss' birthday! When Rorschach stepped in he quickly joined in with the choir of voices wishing Rorschach a happy birthday.

Selena joins Trixie and TSJ with crowd of people wishing the bossman a happy birthday, and tells the guards there to bring out the cake and to his surprise a lovely woman pops out of the cake and everyone starts cheering as the woman begins to walk over, as music begins to play as she dances for the bossman. ...

happy birthday Rorschach :)

Slightly taken aback by the sudden eruption of noise, Rorschach reaches into his jacket and instinctually grasps his gun before realising the occasion and relaxing somewhat, allowing his hand to drop from his weapon and eventually hugging and kissing the cheeks of his guests as he crosses the room, stepping up onto a chair and clearing his throat, he begins:

"Before everyone I get too drunk to remember, let me just say thanks to Trixie, TSJ, Selena, and anyone else who helped arrange this get-together. It's great to see everyone together and enjoying themselves."

Pointing an open hand at the group standing on the dancefloor, Rorschach begins clapping his hands, then raises his glass.

"Since my liquor cabinet appears to have been raided as well, let me propose a toast... here's to having fun and growing old with friends, both present and absent! Salute!!"

With that, Rorschach steps down from the chair, approaches the guards holding the cake and blows out the candles, to a small cheer, then begins mingling with his guests.
