Silent_Assassin walks down the street. He was a substitute for a couple of Angel's bodyguards, who called in sick. Angel walks beside him, and they talk about business. They get to the intersection, and wait to cross the street. He could remember Garde's words, as he recieved Angel's request. "Stand between Angel and the street. If someone comes up with a gun, stand between the attacker and her. If she is killed today, I will kill you." They turned into an alley, where they met a man wearing a black Armani suit. He took out a key and unlocked the elevator for them. The elevator clicks as it hit the second floor, but the door hesitates. Sil knows something is wrong, and draws his pistol. He aims it at the door, and readies for the opening. The door opens, and pain rips through his chest and thigh. A bullet had sliced into him, but his vest stopped it from hitting Angel. He continued to fire, albeit wounded. |

Another figure pushes both Angel and her bodyguard out of the way as he steps into the elevator. The door closes, and they hear gunshots. When the door opens, the stranger stands, wreathed in smoke, as the only survivor. He slips out of the elevator and drops a white business card. ***Steele Soldier*** Clean up courtesy of mr Steele. (555)5steele The figure turns down the end of the hall and disappears at the other end. No one saw what door he entered, and now, with the police coming, they were unable to find him. |
