As we all have seen in the last few days the two cities of Philly and NO has set Taxes to visiting these cities. We also have seen a lot of CLs who didn't like that & give orders to their members not to visit these cities anymore under any circumstances. It happened before when Marietta the God Mother of Chicago set a Tax for shooting in her city, That was thought to be unfair by some of this world's Mafioso but in the end every one subdued & paid the Tax. Now, a new sort of taxes has been set "Visiting city Tax". I think that is totally unfair as we all "as drug dealers" know that the highest Coke prices ever are always in philly, a lot of times we see that NO has the lowest Heroine prices, Besides philly pays the Highest for petties & Felonies. Anyway we don't have the right to demure. It's your city Jimmy & you have the right to set whatever rules you want. As for me I have to follow my Families rules and not visit these cities anymore. Just one more note I have and thought to share it with you, Taxes are very High to be paid weekly, If I paid you 200k to visit your cities how much will be left for me to earn & donate!! May be If you make this Tribute or Tax be paid Monthly This will make some Crew Leaders accept the Tax & pay it. |

I'm not overly impressed with the idea myself, but at the end of the day, there is nothing we can do about it, either pay the price or don't go there, simple Taxes are nothing new, they have been about for years, they don't normally last too long which is a will of hope :) |

| Personally I think that the tax is ludicrous, but the price is fair and reasonable. Unless I heard wrong I believe it's only $100,000 per person? That's not ridiculous, as most Made Men make that in two good drug runs. | |

Taxes are nothing new, and neither are supposed mafiosi acting like a bunch of crying bitches. How many times exactly did you say "it's not fair"? Do I really need to explain how fairness relates to organized crime and the exercise of criminal power? Since you are in the mafia, I assume you know how the mafia operates. Everything you do which earns money gets a percentage bumped up the ladder. In theory, you should bump up to your Capo, who takes his cut and then bumps up to the Boss. Anytime you are doing a crime on the patch of another mafia family, then that family should also get a taste of the action. What is ludicrous isn't that these taxes are being demanded. What is ludicrous is that they haven't been demanded all along. |

No one's going to point out the weirdly glaring mistake in this? "Marietta the God Mother of Chicago" Thomas moves the pin in Archangel's map of America from Illinois to Michigan There we are. As for the actual taxes... If you think you have the chutzpah (as Fu-Manju would say) to enforce them then all the better for you! |

| It really doesn't seem like much more needs to be said here. Yes the taxes are unfair, but there is nothing that we can do about it. At the end of the day it is Jimmy's city. As for me, I am probably not going to pay the tax, I hope that if enough people do the same Jimmy will start to lose money and thus lift the tax. | |

At the end of the Day I am not asking you to each pay individually 100k. I have offered a family price which in the end makes your entering fee much lower. What I have done is offered you the choice to enter the city should your family refuse the tax at the cost of 100k. This is the mafia. Our business is making money. That is what I am doing. |

I just think it is interesting that, as a Godfather, you receive a tax off the top for anyone who enters your city at all and does any kind of business there. By asking for a tax you make make a little bit of money, but there will surely be those who will not pay and will not visit. This then, eventually, will cut down on profit anyway, and at the very most will break you even and make people angry. I'm not arguing, I'm glad to see some kind of activity come from the cities, I just wish it was more thought out. Respect, LM |

That's really the only decent criticism that has come of this, Lacey. Nice job showing that not everyone out there is a mong. I guess it remains to be seen whether or not this will increase Jimmy's profits. Maybe it is better for Jimmy that many family leaders have refused to pay. That might mean that there will be more payments by single individuals, which, as demonstrated, will result in a larger profit. Maybe Jimmy had calculated this outcome ahead of time? Hmmmm.... |

Many family leaders have refused to pay but that does not stop there members from paying the individual taxes either. Though it may seem that I did not think this out. You will be surprised at how much thought was put into this. I expected some families not to pay and that was where the individual taxes came into play at 100k. People have already paid there taxes to do there thing. How many I will not tell but lets just say I am not loosing out as much as people think. |

| You know every family has a right to impose whatever taxes they have on their cities. It's the point of territory involving the Mafia. What's the point of running a territory if you don't profit from it? That's the point of the Mafia now anyways, absolute economic and political power. | |
