I retract my original post, I swapped my HTC for an iPhone 6 and I love it. And no, it's not bent.

Recently ordered a Sony Xperia M2, a mid-range phone - nothing too expensive... Hoping it's decent enough.

I stopped buying Apple products after my Macbook melted a few years ago. I left it to charge as I had a nap for a couple of hours: woke to the smell of burning plastic. The charger had melted significantly, along with the battery compartment warping. I was lucky that it didn't spark a fire. Hope that the recent versions are better built.
