He starts to blush both from his secret excuse for hesitating and because of the fact she intimidated him a bit. For what? I was going to go get you a beagle to make amends for making you uncomfortable.... I'm not... He stares at the fact she's still holding his hand, but knows it would be too obvious if he pulls it away. Can we be friends? He gives you a slightly uncomfortable smile. |

Quilly lets go of Dusk's hand. She smiles back at him not noticing his smile being a bit off. Whatever you say pal! She mockingly hits him on the back. We don't need beagles, they just make me think of Akashakaka. Quilly wrinkles her face up, but moments later a new thought pops into her head and a cute little smile plays across her lips. You can make things up by buying me ice cream. |

Alright! That's the kind I like too. He walks Quilly up to an ice cream stand and purchases two cones with vanilla ice cream. He looks in the corner of his eye to see if the rolls have switched and now he's following them. |

What would I have to gain from lying about what kind of ice cream flavor I like? I'm just checking to see if we are being followed. It's a bit of an automatic thing I do and not too unreasonably so considering the profession. |

He raises an eyebrow. Profession... ah, well I work for my family. Made me a tad paranoid. He wonders if that's clear enough for you. His excuse was complete bull shit, but he was having too much fun with Premier by optomizing Quilly's time to be truthful. He was treding on glass, one wrong slip and he might be forced to give the real reason and he or Premier certainly didn't want that. |
