Another thing that I just have to say is this is really an internal matter. If you notice your crew or members of your crew are not contributing to your expectations the last thing any good leader should do is make a public appearance about it. This needs to be a one on one conversation with the individual or individuals. You need to let them know what your expectations are. If you have your HQ proper there will be a thread with these expectations listed. If these are not followed there should be consequences. Coming out to the streets is not a consequence and will not get your crew to contribute anymore. If anything your crew will just lose all faith and respect in you because in my eyes you just threw your entire crew under the bus as poor contributors. It's either that or you are a plain asshat that doesn't think before he speaks. Maybe a little bit of both? Anyways this should have never left your HQ and or MM. In reality it shouldn't even be a MM because that would be saying your entire crew doesn't contribute enough and there will always be the shining stars and lazy greedy bums in every crew. Maybe next time think before you come out to these streets and start complaining, then have to make a bigger joke out of yourself by making a public apology. In my ancestors times you would have been extremely lucky to get that far....

chocolope, please remove yourself from the bandwagon and listen to what Achilles said.

As of late I have noticed people are beginning to focus more and more on personal gain rather than team effort. Make no mistake of thinking I talk about my current members or of my previous family.

He wasn't talking about his family.

Report Post Tip
How would he know anything about other crews and what their members are contributing? Anyone can come into this world and become extremely wealthy with a click if a button. Those members luckily aren't his problem either. That is for their crew leader and hands to discuss with those members if they feel it is necessary. Either way, the "bandwagon" isn't favoring his ideals.

Are crewleaders not allowed to talk to one another now in the coffee shops about progress and members and the likes? Maybe Achilles was just bringing forward a discussion based on what he has observed and been informed of via other sources? You act like he is intentioally being an ass, which knowing Achilles is only the case half the time.

Yes I seem to have forgotten Achilles first speech about it not being about his own family. Everything still applies other than that however. I spose you can talk crew to crew about the progress of your members and he could be plus oneing his street presence using others experiences.
Report Post Tip

Which part of your response still applies then, chocolope? I'm ignoring that much of it now, I'm not entirely sure what your point is.

Report Post Tips: 2 / Total: $600,000 Tip

sure you can talk crew to crew, family to family about issues but would you like to do a count? how many CL have said that there familys are doing just fine? i'd say more than the ones are compalining about members not contibuting enough. oh wait not even members of their own family.

i can say i personally started buying bgs as a goomba. i wasn't a hand nor was i at the time looking to be, hell i wasn't even considered at the time. but i was buying them but i also contributed over 75mil. three times what you shot your own hand for. who now is the low man on the totem pole. looking for protection and handed a hand position, sure he took a bullet but the whole point of this was to earn things how could a thug or gangster posibly earn that right? just saying if i die and come back am i not supposed to use everything that i have to gain as much money as possible. sure some will go to a family but the rest will be spent on myself to fullfill my asperations.

But i belive Silvio said it best. its about leadership and with the complaints i'm hearing weather its your family you complaining about or others. who ever it may be should step back and look at what they are doing wrong. if they are not seeing what that is think about stepping down.

Removing himself from all the commotion Chocolope wanders down the street. As he crosses the street he sees a billboard that catches his eye. It reads HITLIST chuckling, he thinks to himself. Well I obviously wasn't the only one thinking that this is all ridiculous.

Why don't you go ahead and get that money your LHM is worth too. Seeing as everyone of your members is equal to a dollar amount.

Well said mr Sky, and indeed Chocolope.

At some point soon I really hope you guys will start listening to what it is we are saying, rather than just making up something that fits your argument.

If you contributed to your family, then clearly you aren't one of the selfish people who is elevating themselves at the expense of their family, are you? You're doing exactly what you're meant to be doing and this is the type of behaviour that all associates and family members should be engaged in - something we are strong advocates for.

Can anyone honestly tell me with a straight face that it is right for any individual to place themselves above the family? No, I didn't think so. It is that selfish attitude which we're opposed to, you know, on account of it being fucking preposterous and all. What we aren't saying is that every low ranker is a selfish dick because evidently that wouldn't be true as most people aren't. Most people want to help their family and be rewarded for their hard work and loyalty. This again is something we're committed to doing and we are strong advocates for.

three times what you shot your own hand for. - SebasianSky

Why don't you go ahead and get that money your LHM is worth too. Seeing as everyone of your members is equal to a dollar amount.  - chocolope

I don't want to alarm you gentlemen, but this thing we're in, it is actually about business. Crazy, right? So when presented with a business proposition like the one offered to us, shock horror, we decided to do what was best for our crew. Are you noticing a pattern here yet? We like to do things that are about the collective, not any one individual. With this stance in mind and knowing the personal vendetta being waged against our organisation by a God come mortal, it made financial sense for us to cash in a hit for $25,000,000. That money was more beneficial to the family than the life of Romwulf, especially when the devilishly handsome Heel (blush) was waiting in the wings to fill the void.

Report Post Tip
So it seems as though your family's number one priority is business and money and that honor and respect comes later. A life is a life whether they can come back as a son or not you took one of your family members for a quick check. I can't say for sure but I would like to hope that my own family would not do that to one of our members. Instead I have been given millions to fly out of a city where there was a rogue when I was most likely ok there but my leader didn't want to take the chance and I respect that. There are other alternatives that could have been used. Such as donations from your family. Maybe a contest could have been held to raise that money and anything above and beyond went to whoever donated less. The winnings could have been given in cash, credits, bodyguards or anything. Personally, I feel it disrespectful to take a family members life for money unless that family member did something they deserved to die they should be alive still. Whether or not they agreed to it doesn't matter to me one bit. There would have been much more honor if you wouldn't have taken the money but gathered it in your own way.

Hey, you fuck holes! Now it’s my fucking turn to say fucking something in the fucking streets. So you asshats better fucking listen, pricks!

Ahem. I really can’t hack this tone for too long. Please excuse the rest of my comment and feel free to imagine additional aggression if it aids my point in any way. After all, I'm a mobster.

I think it’s within reason to explain to your own members your stance on a “team effort”, i.e. if it’s a new set up then it’s clearly not the wisest strategy for individuals to focus on their own protection. At the same time, I personally would object to a crew leader dictating/demanding that they receive the large majority of my wealth (hypothetically, I’d be very well off) to guarantee my protection, when they’ve simply offered me shelter.

There are 40+ other crews that offer the same benefit.

Respect needs to be a two way street - and earned by both parties. It’s naïve to think otherwise. The ability for a CL to develop a great rapport is the best asset one can have, in my opinion. No amount of money can buy true loyalty. Those that admire their leaders would never hesitate in going above and beyond in donations.

This is one of the most obnoxious and arrogant speeches I’ve listened to in a long time. It’s quite worrying the fact that nobody in power has pulled you up on going as far as admitting that you would like to shoot those wealthy “pissants” in other crews “out of pure principle”.
Quite daring you would so openly criticize how others run their family in such a threatening, insulting and disrespectful manner - although, I’m not sure whether this speaks volumes about yourself or those too afraid to voice their differing opinion and stand up for their family.
Report Post Tip

I understand what you are trying to say Consig Achllies. As Don Jono mentioned we have a clear understanding in our crew of what we should be donating and that is because Jono informs us on where the money is going. Does he have to do this for us? No. But is a nice touch to know where the money which we have worked our asses off is going to. So I firmly believe that it is up to the crew leader to encourage members to tribute. Crew leader needs to make it clear what they expects from their members which after this speech I am sure your members know what is expected from them. When members fail to achieve those expectations then punishment is due whether it be denied promotions or a shot to the face.

Only one part of what you said bothers me,

You asshats must be confused, not one leader owes you a thing, you owe us.

I think that kind of mentality isn't right. Not that members shouldn't feel like they owe their crew leader for giving them a home and keeping them safe. But crew leaders also owe their members a lot too. Where would the members be without them? In another crew, working their asses off for another crew leader. On the other hand where would the crew leader be without members? They wouldn't have as much money, wouldn't be able to train their bodyguards as efficiently let alone buy new ones. During wars who protects them with protection shoots while they themselves a free to be killed by any hitter? Members. Members don't have to join certain crew leaders but they on the other hand need members to succeed as a crew leader. So some appreciation goes a long way I think.

I got to say Consig Achilles you are blunt as fuck. I love that shit, I like to see a CL who is not ashamed to say what they think and the way they express it. That I applaud you.

Now one thing I'd like to say about this segment is without the members there is no crew/family. Now I strongly believe in kicking up donations should be a no fucking brainer...

But I don't believe in taking everything a fello member has. We all know alot of yous work hard for the money drug dealing, knocking off liquor stores and banks.

By all means help your CL and family grow. But we little people need eat as well. So necessary I agree that we should see more contributing. Because it was sure he'll lot different those.

Now taxes is perfect for the basics and bare minimum. But not all is going to do that. You wont make it anywhere unless you exceed past the bare minimum. But sometimes the bare minimum is what people only have time for. For those people they act accordingly, nothing wrong with that.

Smiling to himself Brendan wanders forward again. Listening to Chelsea he smiles. Indeed it is nice to know where your money will be going and can inspire you to donate more if you have a goal to reach as a family. Continuing to listen to their second point Brendan feels the need to interject.

Where would the members be without them? In another crew, working their asses off for another crew leader. On the other hand where would the crew leader be without members? They wouldn't have as much money, wouldn't be able to train their bodyguards as efficiently let alone buy new ones. So, and correct me if I be wrong,  if you were not with Achilles oweing him a living then you would be with someone else. Owing them a living. Right?

What Achilles says, especially in this point, is generally correct. Whoever you work for. You owe them more than they owe you. Just for the simple fact once you join you're in their debt for giving you a shot. Following that once you take the oath you are completely bound to them and your social standing reflects that. But to address some of you points.

They wouldn't have as much money. No. But then neither would the family as the whole so all those little things that make life easier wouldn't be shared out. Jails. MIA's. Bodyguards. Competitions. None of it could be done.

They would be weakened in the BG stakes. They would. Which means that as a family you are weak. Generally once you join a family it is to the grave. Especially when you get Made. If your leader is weak in the BG stakes you can bet you bottom dollar that members are far weaker. If the leader dies quickly you will surely follow.

Protection shots in wars. Yes. Protection shots do keep the leader alive. But they also keep their family alive and safe. If the leader dies you are a snake without a head and they don't last long.

Members can choose their leader Correct. But the point Achilles make is member in crews already are walking round with 200 BG's at Gangster while their leader is only protected by 100 and that is wrong.

The point I make here Chelsea is that although without members a Crewleader is weak. Without a leader those members are nothing but walking targets. We all know it is give/take relationship between you and your leader. However, once you pick your leader, you should be doing everything you can to keep them alive before you start worrying about your own behind. You are a cog in the machine which powers the man at the top. Thats just the way it is. The way it's always been and people moving away from that endanger all the friends around them in the HQ.

Report Post Tip

It's too bad many of those men at the top often forget they need those cogs.

Report Post Tip

Morgoth steps forward to do his bit.

As of late I have noticed people are beginning to focus more and more on personal gain rather than team effort.

This is the Mafia. People usually get into crime because it pays out so well. If they were in for the team effort they would join a volleyball team or something.

Make no mistake of thinking I talk about my current members or of my previous family.

Then why is it so much of a big issue? Is the thought that some people are running around with a swarm of BG's and that they are not sending everything they have to their CL unbearable to you? I didn't see any other leaders making a speech riddled with offensive language on this subject. I could be wrong, correct me if so.

It shocks me to see that this is allowed, I see thugs running around with an insane amounts of bodyguards. Who the fuck are these pissants to be so heavily guarded? I feel like shooting them out of pure principle. They've earned no respect, they're a nobody.

How do you know this? If they have an insane amount of bodyguards at lowly rank, they are probably heir of some bloodline right? Feeling like shooting people for having bodyguards? Please.

They've earned no respect? I beg to disagree. Who would run around with a horde of bodyguards at that level except for someone familiar with this world of ours? They may be a nobody for now, but only because the mechanics of this worlds are limiting them to that. Why do you have such a big issue with this?

Then I see people running around with their pockets literally bulging, they have no reason to be walking around with such an amount of money.

Again, it's their decision to have bulging pockets. Their reason are their own. If you see men or women of lowly rank with a stash of cash, they most likely inherited from their father/mother. Why shouldn't they be allowed to have bulging pockets, as long as they do their duty?

That money should be getting kicked up to your crew leader, it's not for your personal welfare you ungrateful pissants.

That money should be getting kicked up to your crew leader, it's not for your personal welfare you ungrateful pissants.

Last time I checked, I was free to spend my money on whatever I like. Money is for personal welfare, why else would you use money? Your crew leader isn't some kind of God who should reap all the harvests. And what are they ungrateful for? You make it seem like there is a ''Divine right of Leaders'' that makes it obligatory to donate all the money to them. Protection isn't really a valuable thing, when some crews are whoring members like crazy. It's easily given.

You have a duty to your family to send that money up, not hire more bodyguards.

True, you have a duty to send up money. However, if you want to buy bodyguard, you should do so! If your crew leader doesn't agree, he can withhold promotions and I don't know what. I am simply opposed forcing people to send up their money. It just makes them less eager to do so.

You have a duty to help with the protection of your family, to work as a team. Any money you earn, you should be kicking up. You're only alive due to your crew leaders protection.

It is true that you should be part of a team, but in the end, it's also about earning something for yourself. A percentage of what you earn should be send up. It's true that you're only alive due to your leaders' protection, but as crew protection is so easily given these days, what is it worth?

Let this be a warning to anyone wishing to join my family, you will not be surrounded by an insane amount of bodyguards unless I allow it. I will shoot everyone last mother fucking one of them if I see them and I will shoot you if you don't like it.

I won't be joining your family anytime soon. Why shouldn't someone be allowed to buy an insane amount of bodyguards? Don't promote them if they aren't sending you money. Shooting their BG's and even them will not help you in the slightest. Any potential associates will be scared of by this.

You kick up to me before you think about helping yourself out. Maybe then, once you have earned me a fucking insane amount of money, will you be granted to help yourself out.

I agree with this, although again, the money is theirs. Being a mobster is all about self-gain, or that is how it should be. Crime is a way to earn money by ruining other people's hard work and toils anyway. How are they supposed to be leveling and leaving the ''nobody'' status if they must kick up all the money they have?

I'm becoming increasingly pissed off with the sloppy mafiosi I'm seeing around. You asshats must be confused, not one leader owes you a thing, you owe us. I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't go down too well with some of my potential employees and I'm fucking glad. Tributes go upwards you fuckholes, they don't stay at the same level in your pockets.

It's true that leaders don't owe their members, but they make the impression they do owe something. Getting members is valuable. Why do you owe your crew leader? Because he gives you protection. However, this protection has been reduced to almost in name only. I'm glad to contribute, glad to donate, I didn't mind paying taxes. I do mind when someone comes to the streets and begins demanding sacrifices to his deified status as leader. Correct me if you must, but this is my opinion and I will stand by it.

Lowly ranked people are shot because they ''insulted'' the higher-ups. When higher-ups insult lowly ranks it's praised and deemed commendable. When someone takes action, they get angry. I've been thinking about this for a while, and here is the result.

Morgoth bows.

This is the Mafia. People usually get into crime because it pays out so well. If they were in for the team effort they would join a volleyball team or something.

"In my opinion you're absolutely wrong about this, people have to form teams weather they're loyal or disloyal. You can't accomplish anything major in this world by yourself."

I didn't see any other leaders making a speech riddled with offensive language on this subject. I could be wrong, correct me if so.

"The problem isn't that they're not sending EVERY DIME AND NICKLE to their crew it's that they are wasting money with an obscure view on how important they are."

Last time I checked, I was free to spend my money on whatever I like. Money is for personal welfare, why else would you use money? Your crew leader isn't some kind of God who should reap all the harvests.

"But in the end it doesn't even matter the man with the black hood and scythe is waiting for everyone."
