So it occured to me, there isn't an option to "Save" a statement to prevent you from selling and when selling you don't actually choose the statements your selling. (I've always assumed it sells in received order i.e. oldest first)

This means that when you are holding a statement you don't wish to lose, you must retain it for 7 days before it reaches the point where you can't sell it, before you can then proceed to selling the remaining statements.

Now this isn't a massive hinderence, but it seems rather silly that are left with no options in this area and I wonder if that is simply because people have never really been bothered about selling any important statements?

So I would like perhaps a protection tick box beside the statements? This could mean that whilst ticked, this statement can't be sold?
