*Michael walks down the street, trailing behind him a brand new soap box. Eager to put it to use he spots a free corner, sets up the soap box, stands up on it, takes a sip of water to clear his throat, and begins to speak* Ladies and Gentlemen, I hope you are all doing well. I am not asking for much of your time, if you can just stop by and hear me out I would be most grateful. We are in a very young world at the minute, everyone is striving to grab the gold, that being getting their own big building and calling it home. And while we are doing this we are acquainting ourselves with a lot of people. People that our blood lines have been well acquainted with as far as they go back, and even people that we are getting to know now. People we are meeting and see them as someone we will have a coffee with, share information with, have discussions with and get to know on a far closer basis. Now while all this is happening we are also doing something with the other hand, we are grabbing our guns and firing at the first unfamiliar face we see. Now this is all well and good, and of course is bound to happen and really and truly can not be avoided, as we all get a few enemies in this world. Just like the friends, some whose bloodlines have hated each other since the start and some whose paths have crossed recently and words where said and bang a man is swimming with the fishes. Now that is this world as it stand at the minute, it's a volatile, greedy and fast moving one. Now what I want to know is, is there any trust in this world? Like I said we are all here for the same reason, and all have the same opportunity of getting the gold, or should I say getting that bold! With this does anyone out there trust anybody? Even the people who have been your "Friends" as long as your blood line has been on these streets are your competition. And with such a drive to succeed and do well can you really trust them? Myself I am not to sure on the matter, I know if it came down to it being me or my friend getting the bold, I would most certainly want it, and I know they would too, so would one of us go out of our way to get it? Would the greed take over? These are all questions I really don't have answers to, but I would love to hear the general consensus on the matter, and hear people's thought's. Having made no friends myself at this point I would have to say I trust no one. I find myself a bit shy about approaching folks as I have heard that the "cliques" are formed and if I approach any of these cliques could result in the death of me.... So I wait... Respect is neccesary, but how far will that carry me...an overly respectful note to the wrong individual could result in the mockery of me.. just a thought! DM |

my thoughts here are that i trust nobody, its a hard world, and shit rolls downhill, if you let people walk over you, they will just keep marching. Now, that being said, i beleive that there is a certian time where respect overcomes trust. Yes, it is said that there are certian people that you can trust, but i beleive that respect must be earned first. respect leads to trust. |

No man can go far alone atleast not as far as with the help of friends and buisness partners So even if im new and still finding my way around here especially with the whos who, ill trust those that have become friends and ill keep and open eye but also open mind to those that are buisness partners. Life is so much richer when shared with friends and if they fuck me... well then id be fucked anyways |
