I find it bizarre that you can't actually find out how close you are to leveling up, why not allow people to see this?

Also, why can't you see your stats improve? All you get to see is your starting stats, so you can't tell what's improving and what isn't.

Finally, why isn't there a 'Hall of Fame' kinda thing, so you can see the best players in each category, you don't need to have specific figures just a vague amount. This will add some competition for people to be the 'best' in each category, this is the same for families too, the current list really doesn't say much, so a new player really can't tell which is the best for them.

I personally don't want everything handed to me. I like the mystery of leveling. I came from a game where you could see leveling and it is awful tbh.

See above. Why do you want people to get handed everything? It's a good reason Mafia Returns is quite unique to most mafia games. You don't know everything and sometimes, you gotta guess.

A hall of fame? The staff are busy with a LOT of projects right now. I think that is something a player could do?

I can understand where you're coming from and the mystery is a good thing but knowing how close or far you are from leveling can be a good thing. If you are close to leveling up then the chances are you'll stay online more and try to level up before you go.

I agree that you shouldn't have everything handed to you but having an idea of where abouts you are in terms of stats, can only be a good thing as you can then improve any weak points, improving your overall experience.

In my experience from playing these types of games a hall of fame really does improve the game, as the competition is really increased with people vying for the #1 spot in each category.

None of these are musts but I think they'd improve the game, so there's no rush on them. I've been playing for a few days now and they are just things that I've noticed aren't on the game but are on quite a lot of other games and are pretty useful.

what do you mean level up?

check the tutorial, for example,  if you have 40 units, you have the xp to become consigliere. Well, if you need details, like you miss 0.00000001% to lvl up, i think this is not important...

About the stats, i think it has been answered 8-10 years ago, and i agree that we dont have to see the stats. And i never do math when i play.

The best in each category? well, how many categories there are? How will you tell that someone is the best in roleplay, in helping new members, in killing, or in defence, or in petties, or in OC or in felinies, or in jailbreaking? And whats the point of it? Those options you describe i think they will make this game look like some games i hate to play. I think its better not to know, because in this way, you can try and put more effort in your account.

IF you know that one player has the best gun, and the best defense, what good will it make to the new player? The new player will only want to join the best, and he will not join someone else, who might have more free time to explain him how to play the game.

For the first 2 points, that's your opinion on the matter, I was just making a suggestion.

As for the Hall of Fame on another game I play it's split into a wide range of categories, such as stats (each individual stat and then total), highest networth, most cash, most kills, activeness, highest level, etc. Then with families you could do something similar, as well as each City and each district, it's all a bit of fun really and does improve competition.

In my experience the best players aren't always the greatest mentors for new players and I guess most players will probably know that, so I don't believe they would all be clamoring to be in the best family. There again I don't believe the best families would want new players, they'd leave them to a smaller family to train up before poaching them when they're ready (well that's what happens in the other games I play).

These are just some suggestions from other games that I've played, no need for any of them to actually be implemented but I thought it would be worth seeing what other people's opinions on the matter were.
