A Suicide in the Windy City Started by: Quilly on Mar 05, '09 22:19
After sitting her house all day recovering from her near death experience, Quilly put the box of bon bons down and put on some clothes. She then stepped out into the Los Angeles sunshine, picked up some drugs and went to the airport. Her ride over to Chicago was smooth, but the news that came with the city was not so smooth. The streets were buzzing with the recent suicide of newly Don, Stapled's left hand man.

ITSJUSTAGAME was a good guy. Quilly had spoke with him a few times, even danced at a wedding or two with him. She was shocked to hear that he took his own life. Now Quilly being Quilly wanted to know what happened, what led this man to do such a thing.

Quilly walked down a back alley and instantly found what she was looking for. Two wise guys from the Chicago family were talking about what happened. She leaned in to hear.

"Can't believe he took his own life, can't believe his boss wanted him to take the beat instead of his boss takin' it himself."

The dark haired man on the left said to his associate.

"That's what your crew members are for though right? Die for the family no matter what?"

The man on the right said.

"But we live in a world of honor and respect, how do you honor a man that will kill his most trusted members because he messed up."

The man on the left said, the man on the right shrugged and that got back to breaking into the back of a jewelry store.

<quilly pondered="" this="" for="" a="" moment="" and="" put="" it="" all="" together="" so="" mob="" boss="" of="" chicago="" stapled="" did="" something="" wanted="" itsjustagame="" to="" take="" the="" fall="" she="" needed="" know="" more="" quilly="" continued="" crawl="" city="" information="" was="" just="" cruising="" around="" corner="" when="" over="" heard="" man="" talking="" on="" pay="" phone="">

"It's been done, well we didn't have to kill him, he killed himself. Boss Stapled will not have to worry about the repercussions of his mistake. ITSJUSTAGAME will kindly take the fall for him."

The man paused letting whoever was on the other end say what they wanted to say.

"Nah, Los Angeles is to stupid, they'll believe what we tell them."

The man hung up the phone after another pause and Quilly quickly crossed the street. She put this information with the rest. Stapled obviously did something wrong or against LA and now they are trying to cover it up with this suicide/attempted murder.

Quilly stepped into a local Chicago pub for a refreshing brew. All this hunting was making her thirsty. She took a seat in a booth and fortunately the three men in the booth behind her started discussing this "suicide".

"Guess Stapled messed up bad, leaked the information that Detroit and Chicago want to take out Los Angeles."

One man said, the other two chuckled.

"That ThomasRourke can finally get his own city."

He smiled and then quickly added..

"He deserves it of course."

One of the two other almost mute men chimed in.

"Los Angeles knows that Detroit and Chicago want to war em?"

The leader of the group answered quickly with a sly look on his face.

"Well they are trying to cover the leak up with that ITSJUSTAGAME guy, but then he off'd himself. I'm sure Detroit and Chicago won't pull their power house out of the idea, maybe just sit on it a bit. If they want that city, they'll take it, a little suicide won't stop them.</quilly>

Quilly started to choke on her beer as she was drinking it. So that was what Stapled did, he leaked information that Detroit and Chicago were going to war Los Angeles. (Her home!) Stapled wanted his left hand to take the blame so he wouldn't die.

She causally finished her drink and paid for it, but as soon as she was out the door she was on her way to the airport to get back to Los Angeles. She twiddled her thumbs on the way home, but was thrown off when she saw Sao a seat over from her. He eagerly told her that he had just reached the rank of Capo.

Congratulations my friend.

She said to him, but was quickly distracted by the bigger things on her mind.

Slamming down his cigarette as he walked up, DrTran cleared his throat...

A well written account, unfortunately a majority of the information involved is not the true account of what happened. The only people who know what truly happened are the people involved. IJAG took his life into his own hands. Stapled was in no way involved with any leaked information. Whether or not IJAG was wanted dead, I was not aware of for sure. However, IJAG did not, nor was he lined up to take the fall for anyone, and he acted rashly to rumors. It is a shame he is dead, though I would hope that the opinions expressed here in this speech by Quilly, though expertly expressed, be treated only as opinions.

As DrTran turned to leave, he flipped a few of his cards up into the air...

If you want to know what happened, drop me a line. I'll tell you what I can once I have been cleared to do so.

...but by the time anyone had looked up, DrTran was gone; a flash from his holstered .38 Special and a puff of smoke from a fresh cigarette the only signs he had ever been there at all...

Slamming down her cigarette Quilly looked over at Dr Tran

Sorry sir, but that wasn't a speech, it was a story. If I'm going to tell you all a speech I'll get up on a soap box to make things clear.

As Quilly turns to leave she flips the Dr. a card.

If you want a good time go check out the red light district. May help you relax a bit.
