Have you ever tried doing an OC but no one accepts the invite? I think it would be helpful to add hired guns for an OC in case you can't find anyone. Having a hired gun on an OC will lower the chance of success and would be lower than a thug. Also so this wouldn't be abused there would be a limit to how many hired guns you can use and you would need to have one other human player participating in the OC order to use a hired gun depending on the crime. (IE For torching a rivals business you would need 2 more human players and so on.)

It's times like these where you should be communicating with other players. We have been given so many options to reach out to others... crew, district and city chat... irc.. mail... HQ... there should be no reason that we need to take away from player interaction. My suggestion would be to plan ahead of time. If your family doesn't have a thread for OCs, maybe you could ask your CL if you may head one up? Everybody post when theirs is due. Plan to have a few together so you can all max profit instead of just wondering when you'll find people online.
