Does this mean we'll be seeing more of Tyler? |

To put your heart at ease, tyler's spawn requirement will be set at double its amount for now and will be adjusted down the road. |

Will this have any impact on the BG cap? Sounds like they don't correlate with each other, but they both go hand in hand if you think of how much easier it will be to get a higher gun now. |

Meh. Just what the game needs, more kills? Hardly. |

But seriously... 14-15 MIAs in 4 days? This has to be a joke.. |

If we're really having this change, the BG cap should probably be raised? |

Why? Wouldn't that just maintain the status quo and thus negate this change? |

| I'd really just like an explanation of reasoning. It seems like there was some but sadly it isn't shared. | |

A person who can shoot through the cap bitching about more kills in the game, is like a politician in power complaining about an upcoming election. That being said, I'm not a fan of this change. It seems it's taking less and less work to build a gun, and more of a focus on buying credits for that cannon. |

| This change is not a thing that the game needs. I think there should of been a vote of some sort, as I think people will agree the amount of kills in the game is getting ridiculous. That just gives the more fortunate the upper hand in my eyes. This also seems just another way for people to purchase more credits not saying that with any disrespect at all as I would of done the same thing if I were the owner of the game. | |

Heel, we already have people shooting way, way, WAY above cap. Wars are irregular and with excessive amounts of purchased durd spawns people already were building guns ridiculously fast, with this on top, I'd say the bg cap definitely needs looking at again. |

I'm not sure I'm following you. If people are already way, way, WAY above cap now, and wars are irregular, why would increasing the cap be a good idea? Wouldn't that just make an already infrequent event even more uncommon? I also think "ridiculously fast" is relative. I heard someone saying they got a "cap killer" gun in 60 days and that being heralded as a bad thing, when in reality, is there another game in existence that you play every day for 60 days to only have a chance of making an impact in? Not many, certainly. I guess I understand why people are worried about this change, but I really doubt it'll actually change all that much in terms of game-play. If kills are as easy to accumulate as everyone is saying they are, things should already be chaotic, but they aren't. So why is throwing some more MIAs into the mix going to cause some cosmic shift in the paradigm that has always served MafiaReturns, i.e. get an astronomical amount of kills, don't shoot any actual players, get shot and proceed to toot own horn for the foreseeable future? I don't really see that changing anytime soon. |

MIA's are a massive credit dump in general.
More kills available = more profit generation.
The game is so stagnant with the friendship circle presently this will have little effect.
The problem with so many equal accounts is that there is far too much equilibrium. Wars are typically against tyrants who wield too much power all the best and most epic wars have been against the titanic accounts.
Now there are what... 20 of them? All on the same side lol.
If you want to see a true state of affairs set an open market, unleash chaos.
Remove the BG cap, increase maintenance, remove tapering, remove mia limits and let the game swing.
It won't happen; but it would be a lot more fun than present. |

Heel, the last time I remember BG waving actively being used in a war, was the May War. The last time I remember a change to the BG cap, was directly after the May War. This to me suggests that, as something that was previously an important part of the warring process suddenly stopped being any kind of significant feature, that there was an imbalance in how many people were able to just shoot through cap. This freezes a lot of people out of a war, it means that the attacking side can basically win a war in one wave with minimal losses, and it means that yet more of this game is inaccessible for people not part of the friendship circle. That to me is a sign that the game needs to be re-balanced, and this change has thrown it further out of balance. |

As people are way, way, WAY over cap already, how high are you suggesting the BG cap be increased to in order to bring back BG waving? Where is the line to be drawn which stops accounts from requiring the entire game to unify in order for them to be killed? Personally, I think it is a whole lot better where it is now, where there is actually some risk of being killed without that happening than it was before. I haven't been paying all that much attention lately, but my experience stems from before the "May War" when BG waving was still necessary and the vast majority of people still didn't really have that much involvement in a war at that time, and even then, most complained about shooting bodyguards rather than people. The thing that truly makes this game inaccessible is the requirement for a lifetime commitment in order to reach the upper echelons. It is absolutely nonsensical that 60 days on one character is considered an illegitimate amount of time for someone to have an opportunity to make an impact in the game. It is baffling to me from a marketing standpoint from the game's owners and even more bizarre from the game's players that some feel this isn't a worthwhile commitment. Wouldn't the game just be a whole lot better if everything cycled around faster? If wars happened more often? If people died more frequently and regimes actually changed more than once in a 12 month period? And, I still don't see how adding 8 more MIAs every 4 days is going to make a completely docile group of players suddenly become piranhas. On your logic the "problem" must have existed for the past I-don't-know-how-long, and nobody has acted upon it, which means this will only have a minimal impact, if any, as they aren't using the tools they already have at their disposal to do damage so why would they now? |

Well to be honest, I'm suggesting we not fuck about with EITHER gun train speed OR the cap til after the next big war, but since we've already fucked with training speed, now I guess we kinda need to fuck with the cap to match it. Heel, the problem HAS existed for a good while now, and it HASN'T been acted on, but this is going to make something that's already a problem worse. So why continue to just shrug and assume it won't be acted on? Why not ask for it to be acted on? I know that tactic hasn't exactly worked for the players who want cities back over districts, but there are also plenty of occasions where the admins do listen and do edit features to keep the game balanced, so I see no harm in hoping this will be one of them. |

Well, Maria, the reason I'm assuming it won't be acted it on is because for however long this has been a problem nothing has actually happened. I haven't seen any 60 day old accounts flattening the planet and even using JohnnyNoName's adjusted numbers, I haven't seen any 100 day old accounts doing that either. It isn't like we are talking days or weeks with this level of targets to kill either, are we? I think it has been similar to this for months. So whilst it may all change and something may happen, the evidence of recent history overwhelming suggests that it won't because it is up to the players to decide when or if they make a move rather than the mathematics, and the players here on the whole are very reactionary. I don't think this change will alter that mentality in any way whatsoever. This constant can then be coupled with the reality that 8 kills every 4 days isn't quite the game changing thunderfuck that it is being made out to be, which begs the question of the overriding need for the BG cap change at this point. I think your suggestion of waiting until something actually happens is a much better course of action or at least until the data can be compiled following the impact this has. Plus, as you say, the Administration have always maintained they keep an eye on all these things and adjust accordingly so I have little doubt they will again in this case if it is necessary. |

Not sure if this has any affect with the MIA increase but I have noticed a decrease in RIA availability. I assume it is due to the increase in MIAs, therefore target count is roughly the same we just have more of one target and less of another? Only reasoning I can see behind this is to make the game more profitable with the hope of people purchasing more credits from the game. With the flight timers the way they are now it takes a lot more thinking and planning to figure out what you want to waste your flight timer on and still usually only have 1 or 2 shots and the rest fill with MIA's. Not sure if this is even going to bring in that much more money to the game because now I am hearing a lot of talks of players with thousands of credits selling them to each other for less than what they would have to pay to get them through the game, yes real money not game cash. |

Mind showing me your RIA counts for the past few weeks? Nothing was changed RIA wise, and the numbers here look consistent from weeks prior to the MIA change, as well as after. |
