As much as I'm sure you are delighted at your promotion to Earner, this kind of thing is not generally celebrated in the Streets, but rather confined to your family HQ. Why? To be blunt about it, no-one really cares, it's not something the community as a whole really need to know about, especially at such low ranks. People celebrating MM and Capo out here last week was over the top as well, in my opinion.
Have a word with people in your family, I'm sure they'll nudge you in the right direction. |

Is the street not a public place? We can talk about anything, if someone is proud of what they have accomplished why not let them shout about it! If you dont care dont look. If the street is restricted to a criteria of topics it should be renamed... |

Yes, it is a public place and yes you can talk about whatever. By that same token I can voice my opinion on anything that's brought here. If you don't like it, don't look...that's how it goes, yeah?
I tried to put it politely to the speechmaker, but to be honest, it's laughable. Just because the streets are here, doesn't mean we have to fill them with drivvel. |

I am afraid I have to agree with Calcium on this one, I am sure you are ecstatic about your Earner promotion, but your HQ is the place for that, continue the good drive in the game, but the Streets is for RP'ing.

Calcium, although some may not see it that it is ok to post about such 'drivvel' as you call it in the streets, but think about it in this young mans view, he has just been promoted to Earner, I am assuming his bloodline has not been invloved in this way of our life before and he is estatic as i assume your great great great grand father would have been, so come on give the guy a break.
Congrats though and keep on working!
