Do not worry Butt_Ox. Almost no one who asks or "campaigns" for auth gets it. I do not believe anyone should be able to receive auth based on popular vote nor their buying abilities to purchase a "spot" in a city. Auth should be reserved for those honoured enough to be granted it by those in power at the time. Sure it can lead to some favoritism with friends and what not, but we have seen many great leaders flourish because other great leaders sought out those who could sufficently hold up the mantle and were correct. I fear that if such a mafia would exist that one could campaign successfully or could just be given auth based on application for such we would lose much of the ingenuity found in many leaders. We would lose those who really deserve it through their hard work. Not something I would say I am fond of. But all that aside, good luck Charles. If you need a lawyer for any scandals that are sure to follow, let me know. He flips CharlesLuciano a business card, straightens his tie and brushes his hand through his hair and then promptly leaves. |

If Mr Luciano finds opportunities in New York, I have no problem with that. Good on him. My beef is the way these so-called mobsters are acting like politicians, and others are talking about having rights and freedom of speech, as if the government is going to protect the rights of mobsters against other mobsters. This is why I hate everyone. I hate you, too, Apollo. |

Do not fret, friends. KingOfOnePercent and I will continue to maintain a steady course on this campaign despite both the prevalent Anti-Semitism and the rants of the under-qualified populace (yourself obviously excluded Mr. Ox). While conducting several "below board mobster-like activities" that do not need to be publicized, KOOP and I maintain several legitimate business ventures together including a rather lucrative campaign service for potential candidates in several realms. We were able to successfully get Acutie setup as the head of a local prostitution ring and we are currently working to get Die_Clause to lead a Gay/Lesbian Foundation. I would like to point out that we are not seeking the popular vote in any circumstance. This is a campaign and platform mainly to reach those responsible for selecting a business leader to rent space in New York. The point of the Campaign for CharlesLuciano - NY is to extol our candidate's virtues by using a public avenue to do so. I find that the business venture of Chicago, specifically with regards to New York, is an excellent way to supplement income to an already booming city IN ADDITION to hopefully providing new opportunities for those who might not have had a Family Head in their personal family tree. We at the Campaign for CharlesLuciano - NY eagerly await our opportunity to pitch our case to the decision makers of Chicago. |

Honestly who likes lawyers? There is law within the lawless, we just don't follow the government's laws. We all operate under our own rules, if we adopted some of this nation's laws then I could see us upholding it. But aside from our dealings with police and swaying the occasional decision that affects us in congress we usually try to stay out of politics. It is sad to see some of our own following those snakes. The difference between a mobster and a politician is we have rules to follow. I have defended many politicians. And even though they were all proven not guilty in court, they were all guilty. Some of them make us look like school children. We have freedom of speech. We are all the master's of our destiny. We just have reprocussions is all. |

So Charles...what's it to be, the Bronx or Queens? I'm correct in thinking that the city is still to be divided into five districts right? |

I do not believe anyone should be able to receive auth based on popular vote nor their buying abilities to purchase a "spot" in a city The Mafia revolves solely around money making. I see no problem with giving an HQ to the highest bidder. |

The Mafia revolves solely around money making. Although I respect your sentiments, I feel that you're point of view is mistaken. Whilst the stereotypical view is that the Mafia is solely about money making, there are many who would argue that it runs a lot deeper than that... |

Ponders this a bit, stubbing out his cigar on the wall of a local drug store as he listens. I wasn't aware that I could vote on such a matter, but hey. Maybe Godfather Guardian has imposed something new. Rourkey, your reasons are sound ones. I do not deny this. But, wouldn't he have to pay the tribute Godfather Guardian has imposed, or would he get special immunity because he is a Chicago resident? 50 members x $50k per family member = $2.5 Million a week if he were to get 50 members |

Rourkey solemnly shuffles up to the street where he proudly announced the campaign a few days earlier. Friend, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears. The Campaign for CharlesLuciano - NY would like to regrettably inform you that we are ending our campaign and ceasing all activity for CharlesLuciano going forward. Although our cause was noble and actions were just, it seems that CharlesLuciano has removed his name from the current vacancies in New York and is choosing to setup shop six feet underground instead. A special thank you and GRHS goes out to our deceased Campaign Manager KingOfOnePercent and our "man behind the scene" Acute. They were our stabilizing forces and will be forever missed by the entire staff. Please look for our new campaign, Campaign for VinnyLuciano - NY, in about three weeks. Thank you. |

| It appears that people who get involved with your campaign always turn up dead or missing. This does not make your future campaign for Vinny look very promising. | |

I wonder if Vinny will talk to his crew leader about his application for NY or if he will go behind his back just like Charles did and not inform his crewleader prior to the application. Lets hope Vinny has some more respect than his father had. If it was not for the war, Charles would still be six foot under now anyways because of his shocking actions. |
