The guitar...simple! To get the drum sounds, use a drum machine or similar...otherwise you're left with a band like Keane - keyboard, drums and vocallist. No band should be without a guitarist, ffs |

tbh you cant have guitar in a band with out drums but you dnt always need a guitar (it is nice to have it tho) i would say both cas i play both |

I am a guitarist... For 14 years now, But I must say, every time i get the chance to play the drums i come running. I play both, Drums are always needed but it can only be entertaining with just drum for so long. (Although I do <3 me a good drum solo) |
