It's an interesting note that when faced with the blood thirsty and war hungry regime of the CP collective, some no name cunts cried for a saviour to shake things up a bit and usher in a relatively calm era; yet when faced with this calm era, you will cry for a saviour to return to the past.

I don't know why people are so impatient nowadays. Maybe that's the way of today's mobster.
However, those of us who have read extracts of this worlds history will know that there is always calm before the storm. There is always something that will fuse a mass war. There are numerous elements burning right now that could easily blow.
We are mobsters and unfortunately our greed far outstretches our ability. We want it all. There are far too many families making money on each other's patches for there to be peace forever. Someone's toes will get trodden on sooner or later.
Stagnancy comes and goes like the wind, just like many CL's. Just sit back and enjoy the peace and get yourself ready for the next time the fuse is lit and hope it's not yourself who ends up at the bottom of the ocean.
I am quite enjoying the "stagnancy", it is giving me time to get a real feel for this world. Something that my blood hasn't done for a long, long time. |
