| GAME CHANGE: Beta Chat - Crew, Home City, District | Started by: Squishy on Oct 06, '14 22:25 |

We have now reached a semi stable point for our new chat. We have enabled it for everyone who is currently on the SDI. When C is activated - this means all chat is going to JUST your crew. When D is activated - this means all chat is going to JUST your home district. When H is activated - this means all chat is going to JUST your home city. The window is resizable in height and width, so feel free to play around with its settings. You can also minimize it with the << button on the right. To disable this chat, go to "EXPERIMENTAL: New chat." in the Manage->Options menu.
We will be adding new features to this chat as we go along and look forward to the new versions being integrated in! |

do you have to be in your home district or home city to use home district and home city chat? or just online? only asking cause it could essentialy make stealth useless if you have to be in home district and home city to use them |

You can be anywhere, anytime, you do not have to be in those particular areas for the game chat to work. |

positioning suggestion: is there a way to move the << button? currently where it is (i dunno if its just me or not) i have a toasts ) icon thing over top of the << button, i dunno what it does or what it is |

I seem to be having an issue where the input box drops off the bottom of my browser window. Making it impossible to use the chat.

It now appears that chat activity is cleared after logging off; whereas, with the previous version - if I logged in I could still view the past few hours of chat activity and catch up. Is that something that will be implemented along the way? Thanks! |

| My only suggestion is to make the spot you type in bigger than | | to type in when your on a cell phone. You literally cant see what your typing at all. Or make it pop open a text window when clicked on. | |
