So. Been thinking lately about the hitlist. Seems rather daft that someone can list a hit anonymously and cause a person to pay double to remove that hit. With the new change that Durdens will utilise the hits if left for a period of time, I feel this is something that should be addressed. It should be the price of the hit that you pay to remove it - Unless the person has the guts to put their name to the hit. e.g. Hit is Anon you pay the price of the hit to remove.. Hit isn't anon you pay double the price to remove. Maybe its just me that thinks the current system is broken? I dont know. I've been thinking about this ever since someone paid 400 million to remove a hit. Thats an obscene figure to pay. There is no sense as to why that person had to pay twice the price of what someone thought the hit itself was actually worth. thoughts and opinions welcome. |

I would think this is fair as long as with it, we remove the refresh feature. |

in order to remove a hit you shouldnt have to pay the listed amount you should have to pay more my reasoning is because if someone is listed for 3 mil then why would someone accept 3 mil to call off the hit when they could just kill the person to get it, even 150% cost is acceptable to buy off a hit what i think should be a option is you can renew a hit on yourself and if you renew it before anyone else than it reveals the name of the person who listed the hit, itd help people pay a little more attention to this hitlist and even cause races to renew just to see who anon really is "thanks for your renewal, i know the hit is on you so you might like to know someone who looks like *r**l*d***e took out the hit" cause in reality money can get anyone to open up |

I agree with you 100%, Tyrion. People can post hits just to get someone else to absorb their money x2. The fact that it's double actually surprises me quite a bit, but the way it's used isn't really the correct manner. I felt something was wrong when I realized what you did, but I couldn't really thing of a great solution to the problem to be confident enough to through a suggestion out there. I agree that it should cost a little more to get a name taken off the hitlist. But honestly, the renew is toooooooo low. 200 mill hit can be renewer with stained underwear. Something is off about that logic. |

I disagree TD. Sure the person is paying the same price as what was listed; but the shooter would have a risk on top of that reward. The person paying to remove that hit has no risk and so why should there be a more costly figure? Like Mako touched on; its purely a way to make others lose more cash. I'm hardly going to sit and watch hit after hit after hit be placed on someone and lose lots of money because of it. But at the same time if I left the hit up, then Durdens can (and recently did) kill a member. |

I like that idea tbh. I think there are many things we could implement to change how things are done, not just the hitlist but also Witness Statements. But thats for another suggestion I guess lol. |

but the cost for renewal cant only be like 1% of the hit lol thats way too low id honestly like to see renewals cost 50% that way the hitlister becomes invested in someone being taken out instead of just posting and leaving |

Well as Squishy said above; if removing the double cost it would be done alongside with removing the need to renew the hit. |

i disagree with removing the need to renew but i must say every day you shouldnt have to renew the hit even maybe once a week would suffice |

I agree if you pay the actual price that the other person who posted it should not have to renew it. That it stays like it is until it is bought off. |

I like this idea as well Tyrion, the Hit list feature has been grossly misused and abused, I move to fix it, or get rid of it or at least get rid of the durden feature cause someone else has a vendetta against a certain someone. The quarrel is not with the durdens, they are NPC's if they are able to hit then they are also able to buy it off, if they want to be nice or not? (just a long shot idea lol) |

I honestly believe that many people would agree with any suggestion that makes the game easier for them. |
