Eren has been driving for hours trying to get back to Chicago. It was getting late and he had only made it to Davenport Iowa from his recent stay in Las Vegas. While driving through Davenport he caught the eyes of a recent casino that had been built. 

Eren had horrible luck when it came to gambling but he decided to stop anyways to atleast quench the thirst of his gambling addiction.

He walked inside and grabbed the first seat at the nearest Blackjack table. Eren noticed that the gentleman across from him kept glancing at him but he paid no attention to it. After doubling his money he walked to the bar and had a seat.

"What can I get you sir? said the barkeep.

"Whiskey and coke. Triple shot in it. I like my drinks half and half"

The bartender got the drink and Eren payed for it. All of a sudden the man sitting across from him at the blackjack table sat next to him at the bar.

Hows it going?" said the man.

"Not much. Having a drink"

"I know you. We worked on a job together years ago. You were in the family Alucard and I was with Innocence." he said.

"We shouldnt be discussing this here."

" Dont worry" the man said. "The barkeep is paid off and the bar is empty"

"I see. So how can I help you?"

"Man to man,What happened to you? I heard you held high standings with a few families but also rogued out of a few. Arent you dedicated to this thing of ours?" the man said.

"Dont ever question my loyalty. I read people very well and I know who can be trusted and who cant. Yes, I held some high positions at times and worked hard in those positions. But the ones I couldnt trust I took in my own hands. Which I know was wrong. Right now, Im working to regain the status I once had. My interest is money and power, and I will gain that power in my own well doing. But I do have to go. Got another 3-4 hours to Chicago. I thank you for the talk, and wish you the best."

Eren got back in his car for his drive to Chicago. He was thinking of all the information he gave the guy. Maybe he said too much? Nevermind, he had bigger worries. The entire city of Chicago in his palm. But the legit way this time.
