FuGetAboutIt lounges in the armchair in Inertia's office as she is frantically writing on a various pieces of papers. In frustration, she begins to bite the end of her pencil, while muttering, "The data fits a curve, what can I do with this, what is this relationship?" over and over again. She had spent the majority of the night overly caffeinated trying to solve the mystery of Jeddy's death. 

Jeddy's abrupt death took the community by storm, and the Incubators, as the most prominent health care facility in New York, had a puzzle to solve. His unknown illness has caused mass panic and people were afraid to leave their homes. The Incubators had to figure out what the cause was before they could even begin to find a cure. Everyone had pitched in, taking samples, running analyses, even going out to meet with the press. But now, all the data, lay out in front of a flabbergasted Inertia.

"FuGetAboutIt! Do you remember how to solve the equation for a line tangent to a curve? I think I'm either getting closer or going mad!", Inertia desperately asks. "A what for the what to a what now? Inertia, you know there is only one type of curves I'm interested in and the math for it is simple.", FuGetAboutIt replies with a wink. "Plus, what good has math ever done anyways?Everything can be solved with two fists or a gun." 

Just as Inertia was going to start on a rant on the importance of math, physics, chemistry and biology, Enoch_Thompson knocks on the door and says "The boss cat-thing needs to speak to you Inertia". Inertia gives FuGetAboutIt a glare before letting the two in. 
Kyubey hops off Enoch's shoulder and onto Inertia's cluttered desk. He slowly circles around the desk, peering at the nonsense "Wow Inertia, seems like you're....making progress?". "I sure am!", Inertia puffs up with pride, "I just need to track down some calculus books. How are things going out there?". 

Kyubey then begins to explain the situation at hand: the family was going to move to Staten Island and he was going to assume the role of Godfather (God-catthing?). With that someone needed to step up "...and...there Inertia is where I'd like you to step in". "Whatever I can do to help, you know that!", she replies diligently. "I'd like you to take over the crew!!!" Kyubey exclaimed.

Inertia sat stunned in silence, she never imagined to be anything more than a right hand and frankly she was a little terrified at the thought. Kyubey had flattered her so much by asking her to his right hand, but to further ask her to a leader, she was speechless. But as she turned her head and saw FuGetAboutIt and Enoch_Thompson smiling reassuringly at her, she knew she could do it. Inertia lets out a deep breath that she didn't realize she was holding and replied, "Okay, yes, I would love to! Only if these two gentlemen are my hands, and I get to call my crew Off on a Tangent" Inertia makes a face at FuGetAboutIt, as Kyubey gives a slight nod.

Inertia breaks into a huge grin and scoops up Kyubey for a hug. "Thank you so much Kyubey, for trusting me to take over things here in the family and providing me with an opportunity to lead them. I promise to do my best and not let you or them down. As you know, I've only had one ancestor try this path before, she had a wonderful crewleader at the time who believed in her too. But I'm hoping my run will outlast my ancestor's although it can't be that hard!" Inertia giggles at the memories of reading her ancestor's journals, she puts Kyubey into FuGetAboutIt's arms and makes a "go away" motion to the men in her office. 

"We'll talk again soon! I can't wait to open the Incubator's Rehabilitation Centre right beside the main hospital in Staten Island. We can paint it buttercup yellow, with white trim and lots of adorable little trees and shrubs....But that is going off on a tangent. I have correspondences to write, starting with some of the loveliest ladies of Brooklyn, who have given me so much support that has led me to this point in my career."

Congrats at your chance on auth I am so happy for you, we only got close recently(ish) but I knew of your ancestors and they were all stand up people so I want to congratulate you on this honor and I know you will do a great job <3

As Mayhem strolls through the streets he notices a huge crowd gathering in front of the old Incubator's head quarters, intrigued he approaches closer to see what the big commotion is, he hears a familiar voice as Inertia speaks in announcement. 

Inertia, this is an awesome role you have taken and I know you will do well. Congratulations on your crew. Absolutely a great addition to the great city NY.

Mayhem pulls out a flask from his jacket and raises it to Inertia and FuGetAboutIt,

Salute to the you and "Off On A Tangent" 

Mayhem shakes the hands of Inertia and FuGetAboutIt and disappears in the crowd.

Congrats and welcome on Staten Island!

As he looks at Inertia a big smile comes across MidpoinT's face. He gives Inertia a big hug because he felt a hand shake just would not cut it. Even making sure to wear his best pin stripe suit to come out on the street to visit Inertia. Not sure if it was to impress her or just to look good in general either one is a worthy reason in Mid's mind.

"Inertia like I said to Kyubey wish I could be there with you guys on your new journey in Staten Island, but their are other matters and other places for me to be and people to help. I do not have any worries you won't flourish out there in Staten Island and like we said before I left we will make sure I get to come visit all of you when I can. With out you all I cannot say my business would be booming like it is. Everyone in the family well made me feel like family and gave me that spirit I have been missing back. Good luck to you though especially with Fugz there even though I have no doubts he will do great himself. Just make sure all of you do not forget about little old me. I'm going to miss you all, but you are moving on to bigger and better things. So while it is so long it is hello to a brand new beginning in ways. But I have to keep on making my rounds and keep business going. Just had to stop and say how happy and proud I am."

Gives Inertia one more hug and heads off down the street where he has a car and a few tough looking men waiting around it. One opens the door for him and MidpoinT's car turns the corner and he is gone for the time being.

Visas sat in the taxi the news she had heard had bought a smile on her face something she rarely done unless she was on a whiskey and coke bender with Pantiesbedroppin ( but thats another story) Looking at the driver she spoke.

Airport driver and step on it.

The engine of the Taxi roared to live as the taxi sped off toward the Airport Visas smiled this was going to be a good time she had paid to get her present sent through customs and it was waiting for her in New York. As the Taxi came to a halt at the terminal Visas reached into her purse and removed a $100 note handed it to the taxi driver and exited the taxi. "Keep the change you have earned" Visas made her way to the bookings lounge and handed over her ticket she had enough time to visit the powder room and make sure she still looked good before taking her flight to New York.

Visas had a uneventaual flight (Well apart from joining the Mile High Club With Pantiesbedroppin) What he was doing on the flight she wasnt sure. And picked up the parcel before heading off to Inertias HQ.

Don Inertia Our linage goes way back and from reading my family journals have had some awesome adventures even when faceing certain death they held there heads up high and laughed looking through my family heirlooms i wanted to give you a gift. A gift that would mean something to you and something you would treasure so i give to you my Great great great great great great grandfather Kurgans sword.

Godfather Kyubey Congrats on obtaining that position and Congrats on Giving Inertia a chance to Shine i know you will miss her kicking your ass into gear and trolling your mail box i wish you both nothing but the best.

Visas smiles at Inertia and grabs a bottle of whiskey from her bag. I think drinks are the order of the day now

Picking up the newspaper from the mailbox, Rorschach saw a humble mover's van roll past and stop a short walk down the road. Feeling sociable, he walked over to the open driver's side window and struck up a conversation:

"So are you lost or are you new to the area?..." he started before realising the driver was wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the insignia of Kyubey's protege - Inertia.

"Ah, so you're moving in the new crew huh? Well, that'll certainly liven up the area." Rorschach mused to the moving man, who looked confused, eventually replying in what sounded like Spanish. Rorschach wasnt good with foreign languages. Feeling slightly awkward, he scrawled a note on the crossword section of the newspaper which read:

"Inertia, welcome    to Rainbow Island.
 If you    require    anything, please    
     dont hesitate to    contact    me or
 my    bootleggers    Welcome!    "

Realising the informality of his greeting, and the fact he had needlessly ruined his afternoon puzzle, Rorschach shook his head at the removal man and muttered "Never mind" before retiring into his own property to arrange a welcome befitting the newest fabulous Staten Island crew leader.

It goes without saying that you're a true gem in this world of ours, there is no doubt in my mind that you will go far and continue to be awesome!

FutureStealer grabs his hat and puts on his suit coat before lighting a cigarette and walking out the door.  As he approaches his car he tells the driver:

"Head to Staten Island, we've got a party to go to."

Upon arriving FutureStealer notices the party is in full swing.  He always did enjoy being casually late to the party.  After getting out of the car and putting his hat back on he glances across the party to find the guest of honor.  It didn't take long as she was completely surrounded by people.

FutureStealer shoves people out of his way as he makes his way to Inertia and gives her a giant hug.

"Congrats sweetheart, you truly deserve this!  I'm sure you will do great in your new role and I look forward to working with you :)"

After a quick kiss on the cheek, FutureStealer heads to the bar and grabs a whiskey to enjoy the party.

Congrats to you and Kyubey live a long and prosper life!
