On the street is a temporary building made from creaky plywood, the sign on the outside reads:
Just beyond the futuristic beads acting as a makeshit doorway, LaceyMenaux is explaining the fortune telling process to a couple of prospective customers... You see, it's a very complex process involving God and Judah and BFN or something... where invisible lightning strikes a pole on my ceiling... which is also invisible.. and uh.. Lacey points at the doorway. LOOK OVER THERE! The crowd turns away and Lacey quickly smashes open a fortune cookie and memorizes the fortune. Brushing the debris off the table she waits for the crowd, who one by one, confused, turn back around to face her. Whoops, guess nothing's there.. anyway.. OH MY! I FEEL THE LIGHTNING STRIKING! The pole that is invisible.. is definitely struck.. Lacey reads the fortune directly from the cookie..
Yessssss... So step right up! Lacey waves customers forward. Free fortunes being told here! (It may take me a while to catch up if I get an influx of requests. Stay patient. Thats what BFN would do.) |

Shirley could not resist the notion of a real, live fortune teller! She stood in line anxiously, but did her best to keep from letting her impatience show--it was impolite, after all. When it was her turn, she cautiously approached the woman and took a seat across the table from her, crossing her legs as she sat. She smiled sweetly. Would you read my fortune please? |

Katie narrows her eyes at Premier and trips him as he walks by. She then picks his wallet gently out of his pants pocket and rifles through the cash. Oh your paying for it? Why thank you! |

Shirley thought for a moment about her fortune and nodded. Of course! It was all so very clear now! Thank you, Miss Menaux. She stood from the table and headed back out into the cold, city air. She had a lot to ponder. |

Premier will you go out into the street and wait there until I bring my car around, then while I'm revving my engine can you please lay down in the street and I'll run you over a few times. Don't worry, I'm sure someone will bring you to the hospital, maybe. |
