Sitting in the headquarters, two steps beyond hungover and borderline "still drunk" despite it being well into the evening the day after Munchkin made his month by achieving the hallowed rank of Don, Sayyid ponders the question of "what is a life well lived? When I look back from beyond the grave, what will I be truly proud of?" His life, though full of lollipops and munchkins and various candied desires, felt strangely empty. All the joy of the suckers seemed to fade from his lips after the hard candies were exhausted, and none of it ever seemed more than a passing fancy. Sitting, despondent at his startling self-revelation that he was not, in fact, happy merely sucking lollipops and accosting bystanders about the desirability of the Lovely Licks' products, Sayyid made another startling revelation. The thing that really made him happy, that set him off in a raucous bit of nearly-self-destructive elation, was seeing Munchkin smile, like she smiled when she made Don, and like she smiled while out pranking various New Orleans denizens with Sayyid. In short, he realized that he was maddeningly in love with his boss. Like any Munchkin-of-Action, Sayyid knew just what he had to do. He quickly ran out to the nearest florist and bought it. The entire store. To deliver every last flower to the entrance of the Lollipop Guild headquarters addressed to Munchkin. And he walked into the nearest jewelry store, grabbed the entire display for engagement rings, and ran out without paying but with a promise to return with all but one of the rings and the purchase price of the missing one, leaving his business card set on the table. Returning to the Lollipop Guild and seeing Munchkin's wide-eyed gaze at all the flowers, Sayyid got down on one knee with an array of rings in front of him. Munchkin, my darling. There is nothing in the world that makes me feel happier or more fulfilled than seeing you happy. I want you to have anything and everything in the world that you desire. If that includes my hand in marriage, you have it. If it means that you accept the other standing offer, so be it. But it would give me endless joy to be yours and for you to be mine. Will you marry me? |

Me dabs a tear from his eye. He wasn't sure if it was the marriage proposal or the potent smell of all the flowers...everywhere. I mean they wre EVERYWHERE. Brick felt a little chlostrophobic as he walked through Mun...um, Donut Hole land. Roses here. Lillies there. It was a jungle. And it was a little scary. But beautiful, nonetheless. That was beautiful....Haaaachuuuu. Brick sneezed. I'm sorry. A bit of an allergy. And let me just say Mun...you up there Queen of the Lollipop Guild...I know this Sayyid guy and he's a good one. His words are heart-felt, and he loves you. I mean, Geez, the guy talks about you constantly. I can't talk any business with the guy without him mentioning your name a million times. She did this. She's all that. Please marry him so I don't have to listen to it anymore. |

Gino, sitting back with his tie undone, and holding his cigarette in his right hand, bust a tear down his face. "Sayy. That was just, beautiful man. Those were some of the deepest words i've heard in a while. Munch, boss, its gotta be this guy. I know, you know it. Hell, even Brick knows it. Marry him." |

Gino continues to smoke his cigarette, looking straight at Sayyid. "Dont worry about it man. You got my vote." Gino cleans off his gun while puffing smoke, then he re holsters in his shoulder holster. |

Munchkin stops in complete shock. Her best friend feeling like this about her, many a woman would be awestruck that a true strong friendship could blossom into this. She had thought of Sayyid many a night wishing, he was with her, holding her as they fell off to sleep. But she never thought those dreams would come true. Tonight they have and for once she is speechless for minutes. Sayyid we have been through everything together. I could not imagine my life without you and continuing my life as your wife would be an honour to me. Yes yes yes I will marry you. Munchkin kisses Sayyid and allows her to put the ring on her finger she has choosen. |

Gino raises, clapping his hands and smiling at his friends new decision to spend their life together. He is filled with nothing but happiness. "Yes!!! Hahaha! This is indeed a great day for the both of you! Hey, everybody, get the hell over here! Its a celebration!" He looks over at Sayyid preparing his lips: "Sayy man, im glad you found her. Best of luck my friend." Gino then prepares to say something to Munchkin: "Boss. Best of luck. Im filled with nothing but happiness and I hope the rest of your life will bloom into a great flower. COngratulations, both of you." He smiles, and hugs the both of them. |

Sayyid slips the beautiful engagement ring onto Munchkin's finger and rises from his knees to kiss her. Darling, you've just made me the happiest little Munchkin running rampant on these streets. |
