Well dont you think it will be interesting to replace the oldschool dueling with some russian hardcore game of luck? This will be a game where the power of your gun wont matter. For example, you are a Wise Guy who is being bullied around by a Capo. You will stand no chance to defeat him in a duel or to wack him(and even if you succed will already have broken all the rules and will die anyways) So here is your chance.A joint in which everything is based on luck.A game which the Lucky guy will win and the other one no matter the Rank or the weapon will die. Also a nice addition will be-The winner takes all the ingame money of the defeated. He will not need it anymore.... |

i like this idea ive always thought a duel should be a even playing field just like a true duel if you have a max shooting range gun than your gun is a +1 gun if you dont have a max shooting range gun than you have a percentage towards a +1 like if you have 8 more ranges to go than you have a .60 gun or whatever and can only duel those without +1 guns or basically choose to fail the duel with a +1 gun holder |

I disagree with you on the matched guns TripleDeuce, however, I think that all other things should be equal. A duel is typically a thing of honour, one man's gun against another's. If you believe the other guy's gun is far superior to yours, then you would refuse the duel and loose face, as it should be. However, as its a kind of honourable fight, there should be no BGs, no city/district/HQ advantages. Just one on one. |

Well guys I appreciate your responses, but what I meant has nothing to do with duels. It is basically a game of chance and the gun's power has nothing to do with it.The point is that everybody could win no matter the ranks, the BGs or the guns.It will be fun and in some cases even more fair than the duels. |

I can see exactly what you are aiming at Henry, I was merely addressing TripleDeuce's post. There is a 5/6 chance of being alive after a turn. Therefore the probability of being alive after 3 turns is:
P(alive) = 5/6 x 5/6 x 5/6 = 125/216 ≈ 0.579
So a little over 50%. Even after 6 rounds, you still have a 33% chance of surviving. |
