| Jail Break percentage reset | Started by: Ulysses on Oct 24, '14 08:58 |

Just an idea, but I know that I don't like spending much more money when I'm only getting 25% of exp. So maybe it can be set up where we can spend credits to reset the percentage back to 125%.
Say 0.01 credits to take away 1 break. So 1 credit for 100 breaks off, and 2 credits for 200 breaks off and so on and so forth. |

I can see why you would suggest this Ulysses but I don't think it should be added in. Ranking is already far to easy and with this anyone who has a bit of spare time and a lot of credits can get a real advantage over people who don't.
I feel that the current reset time of 6 hours is more than adequate. |

Maybe reset after half of the reset time comes about then? |

Hmm.. So Hubert you are saying someone that has the free time and wants to work for more XP and has a lot of credits, either through in game cash they have generated or through the Payapl/Amazon option to purchase credits ( Which greatly benefits the game and keeps it alive for the most part I think) somehow has an advantage over other players? The main variables of this game are Time and Money. I'm not saying this change should be implemented but maybe kicked around a bit and in turn could new suggestions, new ideas and new features whether they involve credits or not. It's like saying players who have spawned 100's of MIA's etc using credits or cash have an unfair advantage as well as some other features in the game. I'm all for the site and game admins/owners making more of a profit (Players buying credits) because in the long run it generates more users and in my opinion more players is Always a good thing especially for a text based type RPG game like this. I'm not saying I am 100% right I just thought I would share my two cents. :) I just thought of this as well.. What about 1 credit = 1 or maybe 2 hours, or if you want conservative then half an hour off of the % respawn time. 1 credit spent = -2 hours and so on, plus or minus etc.. Could also .5 credits for the 1 hour or 2 hours. |

| I think either or would work to be honest. I'm an active player and somewhat impatient and I assume that a few of us are when it comes to our units. I'd play for 6 hours straight if my jailbreak exp wasn't at 25%. | |

I don't think that was even close to what Hubert said. He said it is easy to rank as it is, which I believe most would agree with to a extent. It's very easy to get say capo units at goomba some do it by gangster. And just because someone buys a lot of credits doesn't necessarily mean they have a advantage. I have seen many people do very well and spend nothing or very little. :) |

They don't have an advantage? Of course they do. Sure, non $ players can do well but you can't tell me that someone who spends $500 doesn't have a MAJOR advantage and that I am fine with because it helps the game. It's your opinion of how easy it is to rank. Like I said "time", is what matters. It's easy to rank if you can sit on the computer for 12 hours a day, sure. I'm just saying it is an idea that could be looked at by the admins. |

I think this is a fucking terrible idea. There's already too much advantage for simply swiping your card, especially as inflated as the credit market has been for the last 18 months or so. Why the fuck should we add more? Jailing requires patience. Maybe if you're bored waiting for your % to go back up, you could get some extra XP by RPing, rather than swiping your card. |
