Similar to the Biblical Ten Commandments, they are thought to be a guideline on how to be a good, respectful, honorable mafioso. The commandments are as follows: 1. No one can present themself directly to another of our friends. There must be a third person to do it. No one would be strict on this rule as we encourage younglings to make new contacts as it is not what you know but WHO you know. However this does apply to Crew Leaders, speak to them through the LHM, RHM or earn their respect and let them speak to you. 2. Never look at the wives of friends. It depends what you class by "look", we are all gentlemen at heart so act with respect to that 3. Never be seen with cops. Strict rule, if you need to, do it behind closed doors 4. Don't go to pubs and clubs. In our world this is acceptable, but why not aim high and own the clubs and pubs rather than just be in them 5. Always being available for Cosa Nostra is a duty - even if your wife is about to give birth. Your job and crew come first to anything. You eat and sleep mafioso 6. Appointments must absolutely be respected. If you have a meeting or deadline dont miss it. Also if your family or Crew Leader mail you dont wait till after dinner to reply, be qucik and punctual 7. Wives must be treated with respect. They are not simply arm candy! and if you want to let off some steam do it down the range not in the bedroom 8. When asked for any information, the answer must be the truth. This is really a inter family rule, you may choose to lie if you dont want to help other families to catch an IA or earn more money but dont get caught doing it 9. Money cannot be appropriated if it belongs to others or to other families. .... well you know the rules on Pickpocketting, just dont be stupid 10. People who can't be part of Cosa Nostra: anyone who has a close relative in the police, anyone with a two-timing relative in the family, anyone who behaves badly and doesn't hold to moral value You know who you are! I think these should apply to our day to day lives, especially after the way i saw a few Thugs look at my women in the local Bars! |
