| GAME CHANGE: New accounts wont be visible for 30 mins | Started by: Squishy on Nov 04, '14 15:01 |

To severely cut down on the invite spam and to allow the job system to work, new accounts will not be listed on the front page, 60 second list, locals, or profiles until 30 minutes after their creation. |

I take it this is just newly created player accounts and not MIAs etc? Otherwise, good change. |

MIAs when they are spawned at a few minutes less than 7 days old. :) |

As an aside, but on par with spam messages, I just want to say that the only decent message I received when I came back was from Midnight-Legacy. And I received a lot. The rest were horrible. I guess poorly written spam-whoring mails are still better than just sending an invite unsolicited like Vasquez.

The only real way to cut down on messages like "good day r u looking for a crew or no ur destination?" are for the CL to work with their sponsors to ensure that all communication about the crew are on par with what they feel best represents the crew. But I don't think that is something the administration should do, that should be up to the individual crew. |

| Appreciate your kind words :) it's nice to recieve good feedback for a change. I don't believe in this random hi dya wanna join. I like to speak to people a little first. See how they respond and what they are like if they come across as someone I'm not going to like. Like rude etc I won't invite them. It's not about quantity it's about quality. I'd rather have a few good sponsors than a crew full of innactive or rude people | |

| I know. Just felt like giving a shout to someone who is doing it right. And taking a shit on the guy just firing out invites to whatever pile of crap shows up at the bottom of the 60-second list. | |

If you ID scroll, their profile does not show up until they are 30 minutes+ old. |

I honestly don´t like the change. Part of fun in this game is exploiting memberwhores, making high rank right hands as small as a little mouse when they realise they just made themselves look incredibly stupid with their recruitment attempt.. oh wait.. "get to know you, try to help you out" attempt ;) |

One change I would suggest. New accounts SHOULD be visible if the new account mails you. Only after they have sent you a mail, should they be visible. It's nice to know who is mailing me :) |
