"DON'T YOU TOUCH THAT! You keep those blindfolds on or I swear to God..." Marietta muttered to the two men in front of her, a scowl etching on her face as she watched one of the men reach up towards the bandanna tied across his face. The day was bright, sunny; stereotypical weather for Nevada. Left and right businesses had their doors open into the streets as a means to keep the indoors cool. Out of the corner of her eye the Godfather spied the odd man sitting in the shade of a parked car lining the road, or a woman fanning herself with a newspaper with bold headlines announcing 'Some Guy Goes Rogue, Obv. Fails'. Marietta's attention was quickly drawn back to her hostage situation as Benjamin_Button gave a small sigh and stopped dead cold in his tracks. "Where are we again?" he asked, lifting his head a fraction of an inch to try and see out the bottom of the blindfold. Marietta shook her head and pushed the near-blind man ahead of her on the street once more. Beside her she could hear a small gasp as Hypno, also without sight, tripped on a pebble and rolled his ankle. Thankfully Aurora was there to catch him before he fell, and with a grimace her Right Hand hauled the man back into walking pace. "You know I can't tell you that, Benjie, it's not time yet," Marietta said, wiping her forehead on the back of her arm to clear away the sweat droplets that were forming. At last they reached their destination. Marietta took a moment to flash a grin towards Aurora as they pulled at the back of the shirts of men, signaling it was time for them to stop their journey. The building before them was tall and modern, recently built by an up and coming designer they had found living in New Orleans. Nodding towards the dark haired, younger woman beside her, both Crew Leader and Right Hand started to count out loud. "One... two... THREE!" they called together, pulling off the bandannas and allowing the red and blue patterns to fall gracefully towards the pavement below. The two men blinked several times, narrowing their eyes against the sun to view the looming structure before them. After several moments of silence Hypno turned towards Marietta and Aurora. "What's this?" he asked curiously. "SURPRISE!" Marietta trilled, borderline shrieking. "Do you like it?! It's your new HQ!" Hypno and Benjamin exchanged a look of confusion and Marietta immediately waved her hands at them excitedly. "Oh come on guys. You two, and the rest of the Relentless, have long been the perfect examples of a crew to me, to the RIOT!, and to Detroit. The work your branch of the syndicate has laid in the city has always been appreciated. I could even go so far as to say it's unrivaled. Often you have acted as our rock, always there when needed and you have all never once let me down. Now it's my turn to not let you boys down." "I could go on and on about how much I've appreciated our time together, but I'll probably save that for later when I'm drunk and show up at your doorstep. The time is now for the Relentless, however, to spread their wings. From now on you will be working out of Las Vegas. It's your time to run a city; to turn the dust that lays on these streets into gold. I know you guys will be brilliant at all you endeavor." Taking a deep breath Marietta waved her arms once more towards the building eagerly. "Well?! Go check it out! Congrats, guys. Do Detroit proud!" |

Strides up to Mr. Hypno and Mr. Benji, shaking hands and giving hugs Hypno my friend, you deserve the opportunity. You have shown the Relentless name is indeed, Relentless. You will do wonderfully in Las Vegas, just as you have done in Detroit for so long. I will miss you guys, but you are a mere plane ride away. Best of luck to you fellows in your own city. WT |

Stands back and watches the excitement witten on the faces she knows so well. Hydro walks up to her dear friends and wraps her arms around Hypno and then to Benji. What was once a dream is now reality. Words can't explain the joy I have seeing this moment come. My best wishes to the Relentless who will always be a part of me. Guys, I hope Las Vegas brings you as much success as Detroit has. Obviously you will be successfull in whatever endevour you chase, so I see this more as an honour, and a chance for your family name to grow large within the confindes of this world.
