Not so very long ago, the Streets echoed to the noise of a fool shouting, scratching and mewling, trying to draw attention to his Opus, Systematic Immolation of Thought.

"Come now, Kuku" I hear you cry "at least he wrote something substantial and worthy"

Ah, says I, but it was only the former, and for the latter he'd need to have a natter with someone renowned for the quality of his chatter.  That be me, says I.

So, yes, the Streets have been quieter.  If we imagine the Streets as a village, we are one idiot down.

But let me ask you, the village people, a question or two:

Where *IS* WhereWasI?

Is he missed?

Do we want him back?

I miss the WhereWasI bloodline tremendously. He was always on hand to give me advice, to help me polish my thoughts in readyness for the streets, to encourage me and to push me to do more than I might've done on my own. He also fought my corner more fiercely than, I think, anybody else, when I needed it the most. And I will never forget that nor will I stop being thankful for it.

So, yes, he's missed.

Do I want him back?

Well, that's a mixed response. 

Selfishly, I'd love to see him return. He's one of the people who made this world of ours truly fun for me. But the fact that he isn't here, and the contact that I've had with his line from other worlds tells me he's happy and doing well, and that makes me very glad to hear. So, yeah.

Maria, if he is happy elsewhere, than I am happy.  I had issues with his conduct in this thing, but wish him nothing but happy tidings elsewhere.

He is busy, elsewhere. I miss him. 

What would make his progeny return to this life?

Nothing. He's too busy. 

I think that that bloodline, considering their current state of business and the manner of their last departure from this world, is pretty much "over" our life here.

That's not what I heard... In fact, I've been tipped off that his progeny is reading our words.

Ahhh, WhereWasI... I miss that guy. I miss irritating him in the coffee shops although I'm convinced that he secretly enjoyed it and likes me more than he's willing to admit! He hides his love with pretend hatred and rage. So much fun.
