The sleek black car passed under the shadows of the large trees lining either side of the street. Amused, Marietta Rossi- Godfather of Detroit- watched from the back seat as the leaves shook in the wind, dancing as one or two would fall from the branch itself and twirl down onto the windshield of parked cars below them. Pulling her face away from the window she turned to her traveling companion beside her and flashed the man a smile. "Excited? Nervous? Afraid I'm going to kill you?" she asked with a laugh, patting her Don, Nicky, on the shoulder. "No," was his answer, though she wasn't all that convinced by his tone. Pedro guided the car onto a small side street where the tall buildings seemed to block out all the sunlight from above. At last he parked the car in an open spot he found, cutting the engine off and turning around in his seat to face the two mobsters behind him. "We're here," he said with a nod towards Marietta. Marietta smiled, nodding back eagerly. Motioning for Nicky to exit the car she opened her own door, jumping out onto the sidewalk. The older woman took a deep breath; oh, the Chicago air. She had grown up here, though the last time she had been here it was on unpleasant business to kill Don Guardian. With a sigh she shook the memories from her mind and turned instead to her associate. "Well Nicky, what do you think?" she said, gesturing to a tall building that stood behind her, sleek and brand new. The man stared at it in surprise turning back to her with a look of questioning. "Oh, they've been building it for months. I just recently er, 'procured' the property myself, however. I bought it all for you, Nicky. You and the rest of your gals and men." "When you first came to Detroit you were the Fallen Angels who had recently had a fallen leader. It's not easy to try and pick of the reigns of an already existing family, but you did so effortlessly. Of that fact and many more I am extremely proud of you." "The men and women in your organization have been a joy to work with. They are selfless, they never question motive, and they all seem to really love where they are at." "Unfortunately there comes a time where every person needs to be pushed to their limits and see their full potential. That time, Nicky, has come for you. You are being granted the right to move your family to Chicago; to try to rebuild the city that you once inhabited and to make it better than before. I have every faith that you and the Kelly Crime Syndicate will take this challenge, will welcome it, and will conquer it in the end." "Reach for the stars, my friend. Now it's your time to shine. Congratulations, my boy." |

In awe of Godmother Marietta's kindness, Don Nicky finds himself standing in the same neighborhood he once walked as a Fallen Angel, Nicky notices some familiar faces. He see little Tony and his mother who own the bakery around the corner. He notices Sal and his two sons who run the best damn butcher shop this side of the Mississippi. Though happy to see the local merchants seem to be doing well, sadness hits him as he looks down the street to see burnt out building after burnt out building. From this vantage point, he can see his old office. This city has been ravaged by turmoil and war, it is time for a change. Enjoying the spring breeze off of Lake Michigan, Nicky takes a deep breath an approaches the gathering crowd. Hello Chicago! It is good to be home! Coming back to visit is just not the same. Before I make myself sound ungrateful, I owe this honor to you Godmother Marietta. If it were not for you, this would not be happening today. You and all of Detroit took in my wild band of hooligans with open arms when we were at our lowest point. I owe so many for my somewhat unorthodox rise to power. I thank all of you and will never forget all that you have done in the assistance of rebuilding my family. It is my vow to all of you today to extend peace and prosperity to the city of Chicago and return it to its rightful place as one of the countries top cities for organized crime. I also owe so much to my family. To those that we gained during that last war, you have all already proven to be great assets. Just as important that I could trust you is that you could trust me. Trust me to lead you during such a difficult time in your lives. And to those that have been here from day one, with Don Hayley. All I can say is you all define loyalty. We have seen some low times. Anyone of you could of jumped ship, but you didn't. For that, you will all hold a place in my heart. You made the KCS what it is today and what it will be in the future. As you can all imagine I have a great deal to do. I will tell you to watch the streets for great things from Chicago. Nicky smiles hugs his Godmother and waves to the crowd. He addresses Alessia and points down the road as TM and his moving crew approaches.......... |

TM walks up the street, he lights a Cigarette, and putting it to his lips he takes a few short puffs. He spots Nicky, he smiles walking over to him standing in front of Nicky he shakes his boss’s hand, he turns to Marietta shaking her hand firmly. He smiles turns and speaks Nicky, I remember when I first came to Chicago, under the command of the late Don Hayley, there I made my bones and worked hard. I have devoted my life to the family and gladly do so. I stand here at your side proud of everything we have accomplished together with the help of Detroit. I have watched your leadership shine bright. An excellent leader but most of all you are a friend. Congratulations Nicky and Thank you to all. |

Hey Nicky, Congratulations on going home. I know it's been a personal dream of yours to return to the Windy City, so I'm glad to see that you have attained the goal you've worked so hard for. If you need anything in the future you can always drop me a line. |

Congratulations Nicky. Chicago is no longer a desolate waste land in which it was left. I am sure that you will build the city to new heights, I hear Sears is trying to build a tower in your city, the largest ever built! That will be an icon to see once it goes up. Hopefully you can get some of the contract money in your pocket. |
