Hobo strolls through the airport casually, the Detroit to Chicago flight was one he had taken many times before. the staff here were used to making things easy for him. After dropping a "suitcase" off with a flight attendent he kept contact with, he headed for the tickets desk, free to make his way to the plane unhindered. Hobo drops a clip of notes on the desk as he walks past, he nods at the receptionist sat down as he walks past "Flight to Chicago" The receptionist looks at the clip of money and calls out after Hobo "Ermm... Sir. This isn't... Sir!" "Huh!? What's the problem" "You only paid $50" "Yes... i'm taking a flight to Chicago" "They'll employ anyone these days" thinks Hobo, as moves to leave "But sir, the flight costs $75" "What!?" Hobo checks the boards above the desk, the price of a flight from Detroit to Chicago was indeed $75. In a slight panic he starts patting down pockets, thinking aloud "Shit... SHIT! This is so unprofessional... damnit damnit damnit!" Hobo has no more cash on him, he sighs and turns to the receptionist "Well it appears i've been caught short. I guess i'll catch the next flight. Good day." With this, Hobo leaves, drawing his hat down over his eyes, in a poor attempt to be a little discrete. He stops the flight attendant as he leaves and gets the "breifcase" back. With any luck it's contents will be worth more than when he left for the airport. As he departs and makes towards the city, he's still muttering at himself. |
