Inertia inhales as she sets foot into the Ninth Street Market. She couldn’t think of a better way to start a morning. The smell of fresh baked bread wafting through the air, mixed with the fragrance of carefully crafted espresso. It had been a whirlwind of a night…

Inertia was in her office, making sure the inventory and balance sheets were in order. Although Enoch_Thompson was a brilliant accounts man, she could never resist a good spreadsheet. She heard a sharp knock, followed by the sound of a paw scratching at the door. She nodded at her bodyguard and he opened the door.

Kyubey immediately jumped onto her desk and said “Inertia, I spoke with the other leaders of Staten Island and the Godfather Council, and you’re out of here!”

Inertia had sat there for a moment stunned and confused, worried what had happened, how her world stopped so suddenly. Then Kyubey couldn’t hold his serious face any longer and burst out laughing. He told her that she had gotten the nod from the council and her fellow Staten Island crew leaders to move her family to Philadelphia, alongside her dear friend Gravity.

After profusely thanking the kind cat-thing and the Godfather Council, even if they couldn't hear it, everything was a blur of packing and moving.

And now she was wandering around the streets of her new home, the place with the beautiful sights, Bella Vista. It had been an amazing journey getting here, filled with great laughter, joy, and friendships.

Inertia had started off as a Thug in Brooklyn with the generous spirited @Ladyfighter, soon she was crowned a Princess of Brooklyn by the gregarious Amethyst. With the motivation of those around her in Brooklyn, Inertia rose to represent the family as a Left Hand. Then something wonderful happened, Kyubey was starting a family in Brooklyn, and with the support and gentle nudging of Ladyfighter, Inertia accepted his offer to be a Right Hand. When Kyubey left Brooklyn to take Staten Island, after the sudden death of the late Jeddy, Inertia was once again provided another opportunity, a crew to call her own! She had a wonderful time working with Rorschach and MementoMori and was sad to leave them, the crews there had made Staten Island a great place to work. She was especially sad since she wouldn't be able to share bacon cheese pastries so readily any more with Bee. As FuGetAboutIt and DeanAmbrose might say, it is unBEElievable. 

Now, Inertia is looking towards the future and her path ahead is clear. Work Hard. Have Fun. Inertia has every faith that her family will do well in this new place, they are hardworking bunch and she couldn't ask for a better crew. But, at this time, she takes a moment to reflect on her friends. She is truly grateful to all those who have supported her along the way, had faith in her abilities when she doubted they existed, and trusted her with responsibilities she never dreamed of.  

When she gets to the center of the market, she kicks off with one foot and spins around as her dress flutters around her, for a moment of inertia.

I already told you, you'll be missed on Staten Island, but you'll be awesome in Philly!

Walking through a heavily reinforced door, hidden between a chiller behind the counter and the wall, Rorschach counts the small wad of cash earned in the gambling racket in the back of the understated flower shop he now found himself standing in. Just as he was about to continue on with his collections, a runner came rushing into the shop, clearly excited and bowed his head slightly as he tentatively approached, catching his breath and slowly regaining his composure, the runner begins to explain:

"Boss, it's finally happened! Inertia has officially been given the keys to Philly!"

Glancing over his shoulder at the curious shop-keeper looking on, Rorschach rests his hand on the shoulder of the runner and walks him towards the door of the shop, quietly nodding as he guides him onto the empty street outside, then turns back to face the humble florist and smiles:

"Tony, it would honour me greatly if you would prepare a bouquet to mark this momentous occasion. Something grand; worthy of the occasion."

Eagerly nodding, the shop-keeper quickly begins scribbling on a scrap of paper, humming unconsciously as he effortlessly sketches an example of the most intricate display he could imagine before asking if there should be a card to accompany the extremely decorative collection. Without even needing to think about it, Rorschach replies:

"Congratulations Inertia on your acquisition of Philadelphia. I can't think of anyone better suited for this move, and I know you'll do great! Love, Ror."

Skimming a neatly folded $5 note from the top of the pile of notes in his hand, Rorschach drops it on the counter and leaves the shop, flicking his coat collar up and walking off in the brisk autmun afternoon to continue his collections.

Inertia i am so happy to see you shineing brightly in Bella Vista and am sure it will become a hive of activity under your control congrats hun

It had been a trying few days but business was business, things roll on.  The tired look on his face, broke into smile at the news.  Walking over to Inertia he looked, smiled and nodded both at the thought of her leading her own district and the hope of Philadelphia once again being a powerhouse of a city.

"Congratulations my friend, in such times many people look for the bad, but I am happy and hope to see you grow something great in Philly"

FutureStealer found Inertia, of course surrounded by tons of adoring fans, but he passed right by them to give her a huge hug.

having chased Inertia from the headquarters down to the city market, Enoch stops to catch a breath.

"Hi Boss, congratulations on being trusted with your own district to nurture and expand. I'm looking forward to assisting you in this venture, as i was when i helped you with your own crew".
