We are revising how we handle people who break our rules a second time regarding duplicate accounts or account security.

All accounts that have been matched to you will be killed and banned for 90 days.  All accounts that have played on an IP you have played on may be killed and may be banned for 90 days.  All IPs that have been played on by someone who has played on a duped IP may be killed and may be banned.

For example:

"2 people" play from location A.  It is discovered that they are dupes.  Every account that has played at location A will be killed and banned.  An account from location A also plays at work, location B.  Every account that has played at location B will be killed.  Depending on the situation, they may also be banned.

We really hope that users will respect the rules and respect each others accounts that they will no longer put others at risk.  Thank you for understanding.

A reminder of our dupe policy agreed upon during character creation

1. I certify that I have not logged in or played on any accounts that are still alive.
2. I certify that I have not created any accounts that are still alive.
3. I certify that no one else will have access to the account OR password I am about to create, outside of yourself and the MafiaReturns Administration.
4. I certify that I will use a password that is unique to this game and will not be used anywhere else.
5. I certify that I do not have or will not have access to any other account.
6. I certify that I will not create accounts to be used as a target account, or shoot at target accounts.
7. I certify that if I share an IP with someone, I will report my IP as a shared IP using the Management -> Report Shared IP page.

This applies to a single person using multiple accounts, or a group of people sharing access to each others accounts.  There are many  many many players here with family that also play from the same location.  That is more than allowed, its actually welcome.  Inventing a second personality and making a 2nd account to do all your dirty work so that the consequences are never felt by your first account. We draw the line when people break the rules to gain ingame advantages, that is what we are trying to prevent.
