I now have a family that I'm really enjoying and been with for the past 7 years. Ive been getting promoted at a quick rate and now I'm a Wise Guy. Obizzle has been helping me learn the way of the Mafia world and as he expected, I have been doing fine. He has also put me in charge of a little subcrew which is going great. I've made him a ton of money and as he promised he has kept me safe. I was sitting at my house with my newborn son Christopher and my beautiful wife who was named after her mom Sarah when I got a call from a long time family friend. Eclipse Hello? WildTurkey How are you doing my friend its been a long time since our families have talked. How is life treating you? Eclipse I'm doing great. I've got a family now and I'm now working for Obizzle. How are you? I heard that you too, have a wife and kids. How are they doing? WildTurkey That's good to hear; I'm happy for you, and yes I do have a family and they are doing great. However that is not why I called you. Eclipse What are you calling for then. I mean its always great to hear from you but if it's not to catch up then what could it be about? WildTurkey It's not something that i can just talk about over the phone, I need you to meet me somewhere so we can talk. Eclipse Alright. Where would you like me to meet you? WildTurkey You know the bridge right next to the abandoned Industrial complex? Eclipse Yeah of course. What time would you like me to meet you there? Are you in trouble? WildTurkey No it's just we can't talk about it over the phone please meet me there at 8 o'clock sharp. I looked up at the clock and noticed it was 7:15. I knew that driving from here to the old Industrial complex was probably a 40 minute drive. Eclipse Alright I'll be there as soon as possible. Let me get ready and I'll leave. See you there. Without a word he hangs up the phone. Now I've heard that WildTurkey had become very well known in the Detroit area through all the families for being an expert at what he does in the Mafia. So if your wondering, yes I was scared a little bit, but our families have gone back many years. I rushed into the bedroom and got dressed as quickly as possible. I walked out to the living room kissed Sarah and told her that I needed to go out for a little bit to handle some business. Sarah had been around long enough now, that when I told her that I need to handle some business she didn't ask any questions and didn't ask when I would be home. All she ever said was "Be safe and I love you." I looked at her told her I loved her as well and leaned over and kissed Christopher on his head told him daddy loved him, turned around and walked out the door. I drove as quickly as possible to the bridge and by the time I had pulled up I had seen a tall guy with a stocky build standing there next to his car. I parked my car next to his, got out and shook the gentleman's hand Eclipse How are you doing WildTurky. Its been a long time since we have seen each other. So you mind if I ask whats so important that we had to come all the way out here for you to talk to me? WildTurey I just wanted to let you know that Im putting together a family. I just got the Auth from Marietta. I was wondering if it was ok with you and your boss if you could come over and help me put together my family? Eclipse I would love to but its all up to my boss and Godmother Marietta... If they say yes I would be more then happy to do it! WildTurkey Alright. We will set up a time and place for all of us to meet and we will see what happens. Eclipse That works. I hope all works out and please keep in contact. I would love to see how you are doing. WildTurkey You got it. You take care of yourself and take care of your new family. Eclipse You do the same. Hope to hear from you soon. WildTurkey shook my hand got back in his car and drove off into the dark. I got back into my car and drove back home. I went into my house, by which at that time it was dark. I turned on the living room light and saw Sarah laying on the couch asleep with Christopher in her arms. I picked Christopher up still asleep and I woke Sarah up. I told her i would put Chris in the crib and she could go to sleep in her bed. I took Christopher in, laid him down, kissed him on the top of the head, told him I loved him and then went into my room. I crawled into bed next to Sarah and fell asleep. I woke up the next morning, took a shower and put on my suit than walked into the kitchen. Sarah already had my cup of coffee waiting on the table. I see Chris playing with his toys on the floor and having a good time. I took the cup and took a sip and set the cup back on the table. Eclipse Sorry I got in so late last night. Do you remeber WildTurkey? Sarah Yes i do, how is he doing? Eclipse He is doing good. He is offering for me to go help him with a family he is putting together. Sarah Really? Do you think Lady Marietta will let you do that? I thought it was against La Costa Nostra to switch families. Eclipse Its all up to her because she is the Godmother. She can authorize something like that if both leaders agree to it. Sarah Ahhh i understand. What do you want to do? Eclipse I would like to go to help WildTurkey but I will stay with Obbizle and keep doing what im doing if he wishes i stay with him, but i have to leave and see if there is anything i must do today. Sarah Alright babe I love you and please stay safe Eclipse You know i will. I love you and i will talk to you as soon as i can. I give Sarah a kiss and walk over to Chris and pick him up. He lets out a little smile and I give him a kiss set him back on the floor and walk to the car. On my way over to the over to HQ my phone rings. Eclipse Hello? Obbizle How are you doing Eclipse. Eclipse Im good just on my way to HQ right now. Obbizle Well could you please meet me at Vinnies please? Eclipse Yes sir ill be there in 15 minutes. I hung up the phone turned the car around and started driving to Vinnies Pizza parlor. I pulled up and parked the car. I start to walk up and noticed that there were more bodyguards standing outside the pizza parlor then usual. I walked in and notice sitting at a table in corner was Obbizle, Lady Marietta and WildTurkey. I walk over to the table and shook everyones hand. Eclipse Hello Maam, Obizzle, WildTurkey. Marietta Have a seat Eclipse. I took a seat and scooted my chair closer to the table. I orderd a glass of water and looked at everyone else. Marietta Now that everyone is here down to business. Eclipse do you now why you have been asked to join us here? The waiter brought my glass of water and I looked at Marietta. I gave a slight look of worry Eclipse Yes Maam i believe i do. Marietta And what do you think it is? Eclipse Would it have to do with me possibly getting moved to WildTurkeys family? Marietta Yes. Now i have talked to both Obbizle and WildTurkey, and we have finally come to a decision but i would like to know what you would want to do. I was pretty worried about what i should say but i figured i should just tell the truth. I took a sip up my water and looked at the expression on Obbizles face, but there wasnt one. That creeped me out. He had a good way of showing no expression which really messed with how you felt. Eclipse Well Maam I would like to help WildTurkey. Our families go back many many years and we have always been friends, but I would gladly stay with Obbizle if that is what you choose. Marrieta I see, do you have anything you would like to say Obizzle? Obbizle Yes Maam. Eclipse you know that i brought you into my family, I took care of you. Eclipse Yes Sir I do understand I mean no disrespect to you at all. I'm just telling you what i feel Sir. Obbizle let out a small smile which gave me a sence of relief. He looked at Lady Marietta and she nodded her head. Obbizle Well then we have all come to a decision and an agreement. You may join WildTurkey under one condition. I all of a sudden went numb. I couldnt believe this just happend. I wanted to jump for joy not that i was getting out of Obbizles family because I loved Obbizle but because I got to work for a family friend Eclipse Yes Sir anything. Obbizle Make sure that you remember everything that i have taught you, and dont forget that if you ever need anything you can always let me know. Eclipse Yes Sir. Thank you so much. Obbizle Its not a problem please take care of yourself my friend, I know you will continue to do great things. Shakes my hand WildTurkey Welcome Eclipse. Shakes my hand Marietta Congragulations Eclipse. Shakes my hand Eclipse I will not let any of you down I promise. Everyone gets up says thier goodbyes and walks out. I follow behind everyone else and see WildTurkey waiting outside. He motions for me to come over and I do. WildTurkey Follow me Eclipse let me show you where your new HQ is. He lets out a smile and we both get into our respective cars and drove off to the new HQ. |
