Sal leans back on a park bench after a longday work. He reaches into breast pocket to retrieve a small robusto. After cutting it, he moistens it with his lips and ignites the other end. A long drag christens his awaited relaxation. BANG BANG! A nearby tree splinters, instanteously Sal drives for cover. In the clearing is a young kid, maybe about age seventeen or eighteen running for his life. The poor lads trips over rock and soon enough a well dressed man and winded fella catches up to him. "Oh shit, please." The poor kids crys. BANG! The killer whips off the traces of greymatter and disappears from the scene. Now my friends. Let us examine this day to day, and hourly case. Everyday this same scernio is replayed. What are we building, our accurary? What are we destroying, potentially, an entire generation? What will war machines and military might be worth in the end if we're eridicating potentially a new generation with many new ideas and experience to offer to our communities and respective families. Sure, men like Mr. GaNgStA4LiFeIlUv2PaC will not offer much. As we know there is much in a name, but that is a completely different debate. But there are many others, who are willing to learn; but they need a teacher. They need a sponsor. Not just a family head, but someone to talor them in the ways of La Cosa Nostra. What is more value? A kill or another paisan by your side? |

Trilacci stands up, nodding as he does so, and turns to the speaker I'm glad you've brought this up, it's a valid topic indeed, but unfortunately I feel I could answer it...as I'm sure you probably could. Most would indeed much rather have the chance to improve their shooting accuracy rather than spend time and effort into nurturing the youth. Is this without fault? Not quite...you could argue that without their shooting prowess, there would be no family to teach these new folk. Or, perhaps simply the best types of families are those who remain tight and the introduction of newer, or supposed newer people merely topples the cart. However, I'd consider the risks minor when our future and not just theirs, lie in their education. Catch them early enough and perhaps we can change them from becoming bitter and twisted, and turn them into respectable mafioso with a bright future. He shrugged and used the time to take a quick recap on what he'd said Still, all depends on what's more important to both those doing the shooting and those incharge. Family safety or teaching. I think there is quite a mix opinions here, most leaders I've spoken to have been quite willing to take in others regardless of experiances or past and offer them the facilities to learn should they be willing. The shooters, the hitmen of this world...a different matter entirely. No doubt family protection is the utmost of importance to them, it's simply a case of pro's versus con's. |

I like your parting message Sally. On the one hand, I could shoot some innocent bum for no reason other than wrong time, wrong place and all it does is marginally improve my aim, right? On the other hand, I could take the time to mail him, and have a friend for life. Saving someone from death is a strong bond indeed, maybe one or two people oughta think about that. |
