DISCLAIMER: I apologize in advance if this was mentioned in the past.

We have the business district area, we can put up a business and RP. This is awesome and promotes RPing which is a integral part of MR.

What I propose, again if it hasn't been proposed in the past, is to have businesses in each of the 6 distrcits.

Now it wouldn't be something you just simple are given, no you would have to work for it.

COST: It would range from $5million - $20 million to purhcase depending on the payout.

How many:  One would become available to purchase for ever 5 people you have in the district. So basically if you have  3 families in one district and the total amount of people in those families were 60 people you'd be eligible to purchase 10 businesses.  (# of district memebrs divided by 5 = eligible businesses to purchase)

WHO CAN BUY: The Crew Leaders, Hands and upper structures from each district would work this out amongst themselves. You can only buy a business IF you are part of that district. For examply my home city is LV, I wouldn't be able to purchase something in, for example, Chicago.

Once the uppers decided who is to get how many businesses and how to allocate it the Crew Leaders will decide who in their respective crews they would like to give the businesses to, perhaps keep a few, give a few away to members, rotate it...however they would like.

WHY/PURPOSE: The purpose of this is a couple different things, it's another revenue stream for families to enjoy. It could be used as incentives for Crew Leaders to give to other members in the family. As mentioned its awesome having the business district businesses but I would say about 1% of those businesses I've seen posted actually generate income. This would fill that void.

How it would work: Once purchased the "owner" could give it a name..for example "GOODFELLA'S HOTEL". There would be a area where one could go to visit this. There would be 2 options.... 1 ROB   2. COLLECT......If you are a owner you would obviously hit collect.....if you are not a owner you would hit rob.

The business would generate income every 3-6 hours depending on how much it's generating, the admins can decide this or we as a group can as well. Once that time the money is generated and sits there.....if the owner collects he gets 100% of the money banked. If someone robs it they get a % of what's in there. So it's in the owner's best interest to collect the money at the allotted times it pays out or else he may get robbed.

Robs can be anonymous or known depending on how you guys want to do it.

Overall this add a new aspect....Another way to generate income, EACH DISTRICT has a fair shot at making cash once they purchase the business, plus other players can still wet their beaks and rob the business if the owner forgets to collect the cash.

This is just a general idea there are probably more intricate details that can be outlined and ironed out but this gives a broad aspect...all suggestions, questions, comments are welcomed..........THOUGHTS?

I for one think this would be a great addition to MR. There has been alot of talk as of late about the business district and making other business with other forms of revenue. People are starting to feel confined in the ways they earn here, I know I am. Adding business that can generate money and maybe have an upkeep cost would go along way toward adding that extra bit of realism.

Adding buy-able business fronts that earn money like construction company's or Nightclubs isnt a far stretch I dont imagine. Then again I dont know.

Being able to own business's would also allow players to be extorted for protection money. This is a area where as a mafia game I feel were lackin a bit lol. If we had business's that generated ppl money they would wanna keep that money and there business safe. Having the option to rob or attack these business's would give the owners the incentive to seek out that protection. Especially if an attack on said business would shut it down for the day and leave you without profit for the day and in debt with upkeep cost or repair.

Im all for more realistic things like this so we can all feel our inner gangster's shine :)
