Hypno, my friend, our bloodlines have had a long history together. Usually, in the cases of all our mothers and fathers and grandmothers and grandfathers, they've tried to kill one another. But through it all they were always friendly. Such is the case when your Grandfather and I had to war one another. After the dust was settled I didn't know what to do when your Father approached me about joining my organization. Keeping good to the faith I had that everyone deserves a chance, though, I took him in. And not for one moment since have I regret that situation of bringing your bloodline to work closer with mine. Your Father served myself and Detroit greatly, and it had always been my hope that he would someday wear the bold suit to represent the Motor City. Yet after his untimely death my hopes and dreams of seeing your bloodline as a leader did not die. I knew that someday soon you would take up where your dad left off, and that you would do better than we expected him to be. Eventually, under slightly similar and saddening circumstances, you got your chance. Having you in bold, as a leader, working with you... has been an amazing experience. You are a man of your word, loyal to a fault. Respectful and honorable. A man of fair and sound judgment. Great for a shoulder to lean on, and always full of advice. When you were only but a Don I made you a promise, that I would do everything in my power to see you to Godfather, and now that day has finally come. And I'm completely overcome with emotion. Bravo, my friend. This is a victory for you. This is a victory for everyone who knows you. To come from a bloodline who has always worked so hard but has never truly had their chance, their run, makes my heart warmed. You have climbed that mountain and planted your flag. I'm so very, very proud of you old friend. Congratulations. Congrats to your Right Hand, and your family and everyone that has worked to get you where you are. But mostly, congrats to you. This is your moment to shine. Don't let anyone take this moment away from you. Marietta leans in to kiss the Godfather's ring before kissing him on the cheek. |

Hypno, i've already told you how proud I am of you. You've worked so hard to reach this goal and you've done it. All your hard work has finally paid off, and you are now a Godfather. You've come such a long way through your family line, and i'm proud to know you and call you a friend. You will make Las Vegas proud, just as you have done with Detroit. Congratulations once again. |
