Fuck bush obama okay but JFK and there is no possibility of a single shooter killing him had to be at least 3 if the tower shot was used his brains woulda splattered all over the passenger guard's head, as for bush he took a fucking 6 month vacation when he got into office, ignored key HS reports that needed action and could've prevented 9/11 plus if you look at the facts most of the highjackers on the planes were Saudi Arabian from Saudi Arabia and only a small handfull of Iraqis common sense on who was behind that but if you look into bush's past he owned a car dealership that was paid for by the leader of saudi arabia's accountant. As for obama i don't care till he does anything that should've been done years ago.

I have to say, the level of stupidity displayed here is very depressing. Everyone loves to blame the government for everything that is wrong in their lives, but they are only partly to blame. You want to know the biggest problem? Go look in the mirror. The biggest problem is all of you and your willful stupidity and ignorance about politics and what goes on in government. Because you do not bother learning about the legislative process, about the intricacies of government structure and the bills that are proposed in Congress, our elected officials are able to politicize every issue and spend all their time taking actions to ensure their reelection rather than working as representatives for the people. They get away with spouting absolute garbage and blatant lies because very few of you bother learning any facts or bother paying attention. They spend more time demonizing the opposite political party and towing party lines because they do not have to bother being genuine or voting in their constituency's best interests. The reason they do not have to do this is because the populace is ignorant and does not understand anything about current issues.

Right there! THAT is why government does not represent our interests! It's because we have people like TDK voting. I don't mean to pick on him, because most of the other posts were not much better, but this one stands out for it's absolute cluelessness.

No, TDK. Go get yourself sterilized immediately. You speak about the federal budget as if it is run by a single accountant sitting in a small office. "There's two sets of books and he made three". Huge, huge lolz, you fucking moron. That is almost, but not quite as funny, as your assertion that Congress does not have the authority to make laws. The Tenth Amendment states that "the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people". Clearly, the legislative power is reserved to Congress in ARTICLE ONE of the Constitution. Perhaps the Framers had the foresight to know that some day we would be overrun by idiots, so they put the powers of Congress on Page One, for your benefit. Seems you skipped those first few pages. The Tenth Amendment gives any power not expressly delegated in it to the states. To put it in laymen's terms, it means "if we forgot anything here in our structuring of the U.S. Government, those powers will be delegated to the several states".

Clinton did not have a magical "third book", either. The reason he was able to create a budget surplus was because Congress enacted the "PAYGO laws". (Yes, Congress has the power to make laws). PAYGO basically stated that there should be no expenditures unless they are offset by spending cuts in other areas, or funded by the creation of a new tax. These laws lapsed while Bush was in office, which allowed the huge deficit spending that was rampant during his two terms.

Out of all the posts here, only Dementia demonstrated an acceptable level of knowledge. That's one person out of 60-some posts. One out of 60 people have shown an adequate knowledge of politics and political issues. That's pretty sad, folks, and that is why our politicians do not feel accountable to the electorate. Thomas Jefferson stated that education was essential to the survival of democracy. If you do not understand politics, and don't bother learning because you are too busy playing computer games or watching TMZ, then you have no right to bitch when you are getting screwed over by the people who are elected.The problem is not THEM, it's YOU.
