| Hard-Workers Unnoticed Say, "Fuck U" | Started by: Mob_Marley on Dec 12, '14 20:12 |

In the city of Philly, for Mob_Marley, it was just another day, another joint, another knocked off post office, drug run, and slapping a bitch who didn't collect on all his money from a John. Sitting in the back corner of one of the local bars, Marley eyes the doorway, watching it open and close over and over...eyeing each mobsta that walks through, some...faces filled with bitterness and resentment as though they've worked their fingers to the bone with no sense of admiration, no sense veneration or appreciation...Marley reflects on his fathers and great grandfathers and great great great great great grandfather....the work, the hours, the dedication, the loyalty they gave...all to merely, at best, die the life of a Don, just another soldier in war, just another pawn used to justify the legacy of our worlds "fortunate" members and lineage. Marley takes a long drag off his joint....coughs...coughs again and then scratches his ball. The last couple days his balls haven't been the same...maybe it was the whores out in LA or maybe it was the quick fling in the alley with one of the GF's mistresses. Marley continues watching the doorway, also noticing some of our worlds most "fortunate" leaders, the families linage they come from, the spoons that hang from their mouths as if they've been born with a daily meal attached to their lips....Marley reflects on how their parents died and their parents parents died leaving a continuous stronghold on the people of our society...Families that have bonded with other families and created a secret society of such, one that continuously reigns supreme over this world of ours. Families that continuously play monkey in the middle, throwing authorities back and forth over the less fortunate linages head....something that has be become as common as running 40 packs of coke from the Bronx to Queens or Hollywood to Inglewood. Marley looks at them in disgust as he reflects on the 13yrs his name has put into this world, to only have seen fathers become CL 3 times, RHM a handful and half a dozen of so LHM...Marley filled with anger, takes another drag off his joint, stands to his feet and heads towards the exit...back to the blood, sweat and tears of the everyday grind, the sleepless nights, the penitentiary chances he takes daily to secure greatness of the spoon feeders....exiting, only to look back and say
"Fuck U"

Melis listens intently. As the topic continued she started nodding her head a a bit. My line has known the want to give a big "fuck you" to leaders who seem to care only about their other worldly friend connections. I am not saying there are not reasons to want to do so because surely there are. But in this day and age some things you just can't seem to change with any amount of logic, bitching or kicking. This would be one of them. When you look to join a family you should try to speak to the leaders as much as possible. Granted not every single leader is known for keeping to their opinions and some will vary depending on situations and if they feel they are better suited to follow someone else's judgement. Thing is you need to work for it repeatedly. Will you get passed over? Without a doubt but if you want it just keep working for it. Or better yet find a leader that does see the potential in their hard workers. Find someone who is worth working for even if you can't achieve those goals right then. I am sure there are some out there that actually value the hard workers. It just may not be seen in the light but rather behind closed doors. Pausing briefly she contemplates past journals and the current. I can understand the frustration by all means. It seems majority is the same people's lines constantly. Find something you do better than those people and make it work for you. Someone eventually will come around. If they don't then move on until someone else does. |

Fortunate leaders you say? It's not like they eat pastrami-sandwiches all day and are getting sucked off by beauty queens every other hour. They're being followed around by a bunch of bodyguards every minute, shadowed by FBN agents from across the street. If they take a piss, some bypassers start applauding while others make comments about the splatter they cause on the surrounding tiles. If they don't stand on soapboxes they are retards. If they step on soapboxes they are liars. They don't have the thrill of the hard work, but are teaching about it to youngsters over and over again. To be honest, I don't find it concerning at all that I rob a bank on a monday morning, kick half up of what I say I made and spend the night drinking wines at my favorite restaurant on Staten Island. For sure we work hard, but it comes with benefits. But for sure family leaders work hard too and besides the pro's it comes with the cons too. I'm not saying there's no fun in being at the top of the foodchain, but it ain't all glamour either. |

Even tho i can sort of understand your frustration, you do have to remember that when you die and come back with a kin, you are starting again from step 1, it is not an entitlement because you are not coming back to where your father left off where you are a don again. Your Hard Work, dedication and loyalty should show what you deserve and speak for itself as it contributes to what your family CL believes of how worthy you are. |

Curtis looked at Marley, he knew his frustrations and understood what it was like to be in the position. The guy had a point. A point that long smoke and all the others that preceded it, wasn't going to fix. He saw Mob turn and let out his frustration so he walked over and put a hand on his shoulder. "You have a point here Marley. A solid and undeniable point. You work your ass off and get looked over only for your son to do the same. Strung along by promises of a tomorrow that never comes. A few generations on and your line is simply downtrodden while others who have run the same distance get elevated more and faster each time around. It seems like a slippery slope that runs both ways. The easier it gets for some, the easier they get it. The more some get ignored, the more they are seen as easier to ignore. It has driven people mad. Made many go on killing sprees, seen some bloodlines go back to the old country and never return. The hard facts are that each generation that gets overlooked has to be more observant and make more journals than the last. They have to see the names and note the bloodlines that made unfulfilled promises. They need to see the people that tried to help even if those people didn't have any power. They need to pay attention and do all they can to arm their next of kin with good information. It might not work the first time or the second but after a few lives have been lived, time washes away the pleasant lies and false promises. It also shows the real stones that you can anchor yourself to. One day, one of those stones might be in a position to give your blood the break it needs. Then all you have to do is all you've wanted to do. Shine." Curtis takes a swig from his flask and reaches into a case he was carrying. Giving Marley and stinky parcel to help take the edge off, he smiled at his brother in arms. As Curtis stepped away and made his way back into the world to resume his work, he stopped for a moment and turned to look at TIIYAH. "Stax is right TIIYAH, if you honestly think that, then you are deeply immersed in self deception and there are few more profitless roads to walk than that one. " |

Big fish, little pond. Little fish, big pond. You need to choose which you'd rather be and then will quicken/slow your ascension to the top. If you want to be noticed around these parts by most of the leaders get on your knees and get to work. So long as you're good enough it doesn't matter what your ancestors have done (good or bad). I remember Desmand giving some advice here on where people might be going wrong in pursuit of the limelight. |
