It was a crisp cold December morning the streets were filled with the hustle and bustle of people running around preparing for the festive season, smiles on their faces spending their hard earned cash, business was booming yet Vincenzo seemed troubled, something just wasn't quite right.

Pulling up a soap box he takes another gaze around the streets and saw arguments breaking out on a regular basis, insults being tossed around like a hot potato, men of so called honor and respect acting like bums, bums disrespecting made guys, where does it end?, where has the respect and the honor gone? what happened to the fuckin rules of La Cosa Nostra?.

Is it lack of schooling? is it the mobsters of today just dont care about the old ways? or does a percentage of the populous just not have the right moral set to adjust to this thing of ours?, then there is my favourite gripe people moaning and demanding auth's.

Yes it is always nice to see a new line make it to the top I have always been one who agreed that if someone worked hard for it and showed an ability to lead then they should be given a chance, unfortunantly a lot of people who think they can lead do not have the moral aptitude, most just want to be a crew leader for the status it grants them, some however are what you would call natural born leaders and i have met a few, these people become crew leaders because they want to help people progress they are people people, someone that no matter what you could run to for advice people who will take time out of their own busy schedules to make sure you are alright, yes we do see repeat auth's and i don't agree with all but most are people who's bloodlines throughout history have been the same stand up people those of moral fibre and respect, IT WAS EARNT OVER GENERATIONS!

Now my whole point to my little rant is this, take a good hard look in the mirror do you see a person of honor, integrity and respect looking back?, If you want to be gangsta keep knocking around with the bums, If you want to be a man/woman of honor and some day even lead live by example and work hard what is given is given who are we to demand?.

An interesting topic that is for sure but I do have a bit of a bone to pick with the earning over generations part. Just because Ricky's uncle Garry happened to lead a splendid family doesn't mean Ricky will follow suit. Perhaps Ricky feels there is a need to get vengeance upon his uncle's killer and chooses that route. Then maybe Ricky's son Alfred goes on to lead a quiet life, lots of money and women.

So one line can vary over the generations. It is a shame that so many cannot see how easily this flip could happen and choose to judge based upon the past history. The past could be very deceiving to what the future may hold for that one person.

There will always be a risk of that happening after all we are only human prone to the same emotions as everyone else, I see where you are come however and as stated previously I do not agree with all that have been given auth again, there are those though who i'd happily see given auth time and time again as throughout their linage there has never been these kinds of issues, admittedly that doesn't mean they could snap and lose the plot one day, In general though you have to have the right sort qualities most don't and a few have and straight away those that run around bitching and demanding prove they are not part of that few.

A good point though and one im sure goes through the leaders thoughts when decisions are made.
