Lighting up the streets with giant spot lights and balloons, Frankie raises the mic to his mouth and begins speaking.. Ladies and gentlemen, Today is another great honour for me, I get to do once again, something special for a very dear friend of mine.. Frankie calls out to Benjamin_Button to come up to the stage that was covered in a red silk blanket with a table and two chairs in the middle Sir Benjamin, please take a seat and we'll get started.. Growing up, not really having any experience in the world of organized crime, your great-great-great grandad, known as Michael_Corleone took to these shores looking for a new life. Following his arrival, he was taken under the wing of the former leader, Jonnie_Reese of New York City. A start like most new Mafioso's, Michael_Corleone didn't really have many friends, starting a new life with a fresh start, it was something that he had wanted, leaving his past behind and having no one knowing it. Michael grew up fast, he seemed to be good with people skills, making a few good friends and a hit with the ladies apparently. Moving up in the world, Michael slowly moved up in the family ranks also, going from a new Thug to a Wise Guy. Making this rank was a big achievement for him, but however, this was soon to be the end of his road to success. Michael_Corleone's family went into war with the late Animal, many people were killed during this battle and unfortunately, Michael was one of the fallen. With Michael's death, it wasn't long before his son decided to carry his torch, joining the mafia world at again a young age, was your great-great grandad, BillyCostigan. Billy was only an alone Mobster for a short time before getting picked up by the late, Iris, family leader of Philadelphia. It was said that Michael_Corleone was close friends with Iris which helped Billy get into the family, but none of this was ever proven. After working hard through the ranks, Billy was promoted to Wise guy, as happy and proud as he was of this, his journey in this life was soon to be cut short. While doing his everyday work for his family, Billy was approached by one of his friends, Telkin, a man who was at that time, suffering from deep depression, it was rumored that his countless kills and lucky escapes had finally got the better of him and gone to his head. Telkin took Billy for a private chat in one of the local bars, he explained his misfortune and lack of spirit to continue this way of life and he, better than most, understood that the only way out of the Mafia was in a pine box.. Billy began asking many questions, trying to persuade Telkin not to go through with it, but there was no hope, his mind was made up and he wished for Billy to be the one to end it for him. Both Billy and Telkin met up the same evening in a New York football field where Telkin's life was to be cut short..Billy raised his gun, saying a few words of respect, he pulled the trigger directly in line on Telkin's head. The following morning, Billy was taken into the family HQ by four of Iris' henchmen, it seems that last nights actions weren't so private, a witness had seen Billy whack Telkin and Iris wasn't happy. Billy explained to Iris the situation that had occurred and that Telkin's wish was to die, but with Billy not speaking out and not going to his family heads first, Billy was seen to be a rule breaker. With this, Iris gave Billy a break, instead of just killing him there and then, she had agreed to just remove his firearms from his possession as although the kill was seen as a murder, it wasn't committed in cold blood, but however, Billy had other plans. Speaking with Iris, Billy told her that he didn't wish to be treated any different from anyone else, that he was just another rule breaker and wanted to be treated like one, and with, Iris took action and killed Billy a few hours after. After Billy's death, your great grandad took the oath to carry on his life and join the world of organized crime, he called himself, TheDean. Joining "The Riot!" in Detroit, which was, and still is, in a successful reign under Marietta, he swiftly made his mark as he worked his way slowly up the ranks of the Mafia. On February 2nd, 1934, TheDean was honoured with a ceremony and badge of Made Man for the family. Following his official membership of the family, TheDean worked hard to carry on his honour and respectable role of "The Riot!" by filling in any available jobs, no job was too small for him, he was doing everything he can to show just how much he deserved this rank. Going through the days which turned into weeks, doing what he was doing, TheDean gradually moved on up the ranks within the family, going from Made Man to Consigliere, at which point through this time, he had been given the family position of Left Hand Man to Marietta. During the quiet hours of the evening, "The Riot!" went to war with former leader, Doyle. The war went on for several hours, causing bloodshed across the city, TheDean made his fighting spirit known very clear to everyone around him as he took down many of the opposing family heads. TheDean's luck of survival was about to run out, as the war grew bigger, TheDean was caught in crossfire, in a desperate attempt to rescue him, a family member of "The Riot!" opened fired on three hitmen hiding in one of the abandoned buildings that was once a pub, but, to much devastation, his attempts to save TheDean actually killed him. As the defender opened fired, he failed to concentrate on where he was shooting, in the rush and panic of the entire situation, seven bullets hit TheDean killing him instantly, this in Mafia terms, we like to call a "Failed Pro". The night had past, TheDean was dead along with Doyle, the war was over, which, fortunately, couldn't be said about your family line. A man who I have looked forward to speaking about, your father, MickeyRourke, graced our streets and stormed all over the success of his three fathers. Carrying on from TheDean, Mickey joined "The Riot!" and was gracefully welcomed by Marietta who shared with him the many lovely stories she had to tell about his father, TheDean. Mickey's rise in the ranks seem to come easier for him than the rest of his line, but this wasn't because he was the son of a great man, but because he carried the intelligence and hard work from his father. As the days went by, days turned into weeks, not much really happening, Mickey was graced with the rank of Made Man on the 23rd February 1931, he took this honour, the badge that we all work hard towards and dedicated it to his father, TheDean. Many weeks went by, Mickey was getting older, he wasn't a little boy anymore, he had risen past the rank of Made Man, onto Capo and Boss, where he was then surprisingly to himself, promoted to Consigliere. As Consigliere of "The Riot!", this rank was soon to be proven to by Mickey's proudest ranks of it, it was soon to be the rank that would see Mickey's hard work, dedication and loyalty that would see him granted permission to set up his own family alongside Marietta in Detroit. Mickey's turn to rise above all had arrived, he was authed in Detroit by Marietta, setting up his own crime family, Mickey again surprised himself a few days later at earning the rank of Don where he was now stronger, bigger and by far better than his three fathers had ever been before. As Mickey's power and family grew, so did his determination to rid the cities of the useless, waste of space Mafioso's, he decided to start taking action against them all, which, in a lot of cases we have all seen before, only ends in disaster. Mickey had been given an anonymous tip of a low-life shit bag living in Chicago who was dependant on living off everyone else's taxes, too lazy to even get out of bed days at a time, Mickey had heard the last of it and seeked the blood of this man. Mickey took a flight out to Chicago the same day with a few of his henchmen, standing outside of the targets mansion, the attack begun with extreme gun fire, bodyguards of the target's dropping in every direction, everything seemed to be going smoothly, but that wasn't to last. In the final attack, Mickey went upstairs of the mansion where the target was sleeping when gun shots were heard, the target came running down and into the streets. One of Mickey's henchmen went up to investigate to find Mickey laying on the floor, a puddle of blood coming from under him...Mickey was dead. In what was planned to be a standard plan to go in and out without any trouble, turned into a a setup, Mickey's anonymous tipper was in fact working for a Chicago crime family who had plotted to kill him, this in our terms of Mafia is known only as a "Fatal Whack Back". With Mickey's death brought many heart breaks and tears across the city of Detroit, and to this day, the heart break continues for most.. *cough* me... At Mickey's funeral which was held in Detroit, a young boy was seen hovering over, tears streaming from his face, I remember walking over to him, asking him who he was to Mickey, and he introduced himself as Benjamin_Button, son of MickeyRourke, also known as, well, you sir.. You came into this world purely on the grounds of attending your fathers funeral with no intentions of joining the life of crime, but later in the day, after the "wake", you were taken away by Hypno, who was then Don of Relentless, taking over from Mickey. Hypno had been speaking with you for quite a while, but with no witness' to the conversation, it's still unknown what was said, but I like to think Hypno was nice about it which I'm sure he was. You had agreed to join Relentless, former family of your fathers, Hypno had granted you immediate position of Right Hand Man on the grounds that you seemed to have already done your research and wasn't the newb you played to be and I sometimes wonder if you really didn't have intentions of joining the crime world and just seeked attention as you were lost without your father by your side. It wasn't long before you were smiling again, laughing and joking about your fathers past, his embarrassing moments he wished would never get out, you stood on your own two feet and went on a mission to make your father proud. Going from a young, innocent boy standing at your fathers graveside, to a Right Hand Man, Consigliere, of the empire your father built. It gave me great pleasure to work for you and with you, on many occasions you have bailed me out of awkward situations with the ladies after they have found out I am in fact married, and never once stopped believing in me to succeed in this life, you, along with your father, are my heroes and I thank you for everything. Sir, Benjamin, "Bro" as you call me.. Never have I been so proud, I say it here, I say it loud, I LOVE YOU !! THIS IS YOUR LIFE! As people begin to clap at the success of such a young man, Frankie looks over the crowd and in the mist of the evening, he sees Godfather Hypno standing silently with his bodyguards just smiling at him.. Frankie raises his arm and points towards Hypno shouting; "YOUR NEXT, SIR!" |

In Appreciation To Mr. WilliamWashtub An inspiration to me and I hope many others. It was you who brought MickeyRourkey up as a young child, showing him this way of life, guiding him through the good times and bad time, it was you who raised the man who went onto becoming a successful Don of his own family. Your hard work and efforts put into raising Mickey reflects brightly on his son Benjamin who is clearly a spitting image of your extraordinary work. I wish you were still around for me to shake your hand. I thank you sir for bringing us this family line and making them what they are to day. |

A fitting tribute for a man who is entirely underrated as a Mobster for being young blood. Benjamin, just as my Aunt loved watching your Great-Great-Great Grandfather grow up, I have loved watching you become the man we all knew you would be. Much love, mio fratello! |

Enjoyable read Frankie. Thank your for that, if I knew that you were going to write up a storm I would have been more accurate with your secret investigation! BillyCostigan also failed that shot on Telkin, it was also the first time my bloodline ever used a gun. He was also shot at twice because some people thought he was from Premiers bloodline and was undercover, we all know where this is going. Why he shot Telkin? Well, because Telkin asked, but the reason why Telkin asked had only been found out later. According to the first of my bloodlines journal, Mr. Washtub had been the one laying the foundation so to speak. MickeyRourke never had the pleasure to meet him as he died hours before his great, great grandfather took the bullet. Again, enjoyable read! And anyone who knows any of Telkins bloodline walking these streets today, should ask him what his great, great, great and I am sure I am missing a few more greats, grandfather did that day. |
