Today was a busy day in Bella Vista as the esteemed Inertia was taking the position of Godmother. Nucky stood in the Market Square as the grand stand was being erected and a small crowd began to gather wondering what was going on on Ninth Street, in front of Inertia's favourite coffee shop. Nucky_Thompson looked down at his brand new watch, the grand stand was just about ready, but knowing his boss she was always fashionably five minutes late to everything.

Five minutes after the agreed upon time, he saw Inertia briskly walking towards him in the distance, and his face broke into a wry grin. Right on time. This momentous occasion was about to get kicked off. After making his way to the podium, Nucky begins to shout. 

"EXCUSE ME"

"Good afternoon fellow gangsters. Today we witness a great occasion. My esteemed leader, Inertia, becomes the godmother of the great district Bella Vista. My grandfather knew her when she first started out as a little thug doing the odd job for LF in Brooklyn, after making a good impression on LF, she was invited into the crew. She slowly rose through the ranks in the Loitador Family, and was even promoted to the position of Family Consigliere. After a little while, LF decided it was time for Inertia to become the Left hand woman of the family.  As time went on, Brooklyn grew and as a result Kyubey was authed and cheekily chanced his arm at robbing the left hand woman from LF to become his second in command as the Right hand woman. He would like to say he stole her from LF, but in reality, LF wanted to give Inertia the chance at taking the next step up in this world. From there Inertia began to grow more and more within the the gangster community, but this was not the end for our great leader. She again carried on progressing, making a name for herself, and supporting the cat thing.

On the dark day that Staten Island lost it's Godfather, Kyubey was asked to take the great role as Godfather which he was happy to accept and with that Inertia was offered the role of captain. Inertia decided that she couldn't let such an opportunity pass, and with that the "OFF ON A TANGENT" was born. Along with this promotion to Crew leader Inertia decided to take FuGetAboutIt has her right hand man and my father Enoch_Thompson as her left, may he rest in peace. It was a sad day, the day I lost my father, but I digress.

One sunny day, Inertia received news from the godfather Kyubey that the godfather council were sending three captains to Philly to start a new city of gangsters, and he would like to send her. Inertia's family line in this thing of ours had started out in Philly, so she always held a special place for this great city in her heart. She was honored to be given such a wonderful opportunity to breathe new life into the abandoned city, alongside some of the finest leaders. 

After moving cities Inertia had an unfortunate start losing my father to a stray bullet but Inertia came to me and offered to teach me the ways of the streets which i was happy to accept, I knew she was great, and my father knew her well enough to trust her. Having worked hard and earning her trust Inertia decided to trust me with her father's position on left hand. but another set back arose losing FuGetAboutIt was another blow for such a short reign. Then, she had to make another big decision...who to give the role of right hand to. After careful thought, and with a little help from her left hand, the decision was made and Stein was offered the position.

Inertia carried on working hard as she has always done, building up the district, even though the Godfather of Bella Vista was ungrateful and lazy. She knew that for the greater good of the district, the Godfather had to leave. As she planning his retirement, she had to decide who would now become a captain to herself and help her look after her great city. After lengthy consideration, and a little more unhelpful input from myself, Stein was offered the job. I would like to congratulate Stein on his promotion and I would like to to give a massive CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR GREAT GODMOTHER INERTIA!"

Stepping away from the podium, Nucky_Thompson looks over at Inertia clapping his hands and waving her towards the podium.

"Come on boss you have to make a little speech"

Inertia has her head down and hands clamped on either side of her flushed cheeks. She was so flattered by the nice words said by Nucky, and was wholly embarrassed by the attention of the crowd. Inertia wasn’t expecting such a gathering when Nucky had asked her to come to the coffee shop. She was expecting an intimate gathering while she sipped on a cappuccino. As people behind her pushed her toward the podium, Nucky grinned at her and passed her that drink she was expecting. Inertia rests the drink on the stand and clears her throat nervously.

“Thank you everyone for coming out today. As you may or may not have heard by now, Sabella, of Bella Vista has passed away today. He was a good Godfather to this district, and I strive to fill those shoes he has left empty for me. I know many of you loved him, but his health was declining, and he had begged me to end his life swiftly and continue the great legacy of Bella Vista. I am here today, honouring his wish. Let us break for a moment of silence to honor that man.”

Inertia puts her head down and tries to look as mournful as possible. After a moment she continues, “I want to thank all those who have come out in support today, and my great hands and crew who have helped my find my way in this new city. Without everyone around me, and those in New York” Inertia points to the her Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Queens pals in the crowd, “I wouldn’t be half the woman I am today. Thank you for your faith, love, and help. Congratulations to my RH Stein, or should I say, Captain Stein, and to Godmother Whatsername and Godfather Gravity. A new era has begun in Philadelphia tonight. So although, some may mourn for those we have lost, tonight we celebrate a new chapter. Now, I think I have a party to get to!”

Inertia raises her coffee cup at the crowd, and turns to hug her now right hand man, Nucky.

What a great day! Philly has become a home away from home! I can't think of anyone more deserving of the new title of Godmother!

Spiels raises his glass and kisses Inertia's hand.

It is true! My attempted theft of Inertia as my right hand lady was more of Don LF feeling sorry for little old me, which I appreciate greatly. I couldn't have gotten luckier really!

Really though, I could go on and on and on about how amazing Inertia was working for my little family, and eventually running her own captaincy out of Staten Island, but I won't. She speaks for herself and anyone with eyes can see how amazingly fantastic she is.

At the ending of the national Godfathers meeting we had decided that the city of New York would expand into Philadelphia and Godfather Cantillon, Godfather Future and myself were all offered to send one of our captains. It came to no surprise the three choices that we chose. All three are hard workers, all three are very liked and we love all three!

I couldn't have been more proud of anyone in this life I live as a cat. All I can really say is congratulations Godmother Inertia.. About time!

Inertia our bloodlines worked together long ago and you know i have always had a lot of respect for you.  Your funny, a little crazy but always willing to help people out.  Honestly it is a pleasure to see you rewarded with this status and position for everything you put in and i look forward to further developments in your district.

raises a flask, then walks away

Bunk makes his way to Inertia's HQ and waits for all the Well wishers to finish and makes his way up the steps and sees The new GM he takes her hand and says

"Wish you the best of luck and congrats to the new rise to the great level of Godmother of Philly"

Bunk leaves a fine bottle of whiskey and makes his way out

Hermione runs up and throws her arms around Godmother Inertia. 

Our lines go back a long time, and I'm thrilled to see this happen for such a lovely lady. <3

That day Sheldon have a lot o buissnes to finish in PH,and affter few hours of "hard work"he decide that is time

to drink a coffee...After few minutes of walk he saw a well know face in the crowd it was Inertia his former

crew mate at great Loitador family...Sheldon came close to Inertia and give her a big hug"hello honey its

been a long time since I saw you,whats happening here?"Inertia just smiled and invite Sheldon to coffee

after few minutes Nucky start with his talk about Inertia and about her raise in crime world,Sheldon

was very happy about respect words about his boss and his family,when Nucky say Congrats GM Inertia

Sheldon was hug Inertia again and congrats her"Congrats GM you are deserve this position,now I need to

go I hope to see you sometimes in my coffee shop in Queens we have a lot of subject to talk"...

*Michelle walks forward*

Wow! well I know I am just a smig late, but ehh its how I roll. Michelle clears her throat & continues to speak.

"Congratulations Godmother Inertia, you have reached a achievement only few in this line of work and accomplish. I do not know you at all, but with all that I am learning, it seems that you, as well as your district, are doing extremely well.
